Am so happy with the purchase.. this is my first purchase... I was little skeptical at first due to some negative review but trust me this is the best puttu I have tasted in a long whileProsFresh productThe texture is grainy that's how a puttu flour traditionally is made.Needs lots of water to prepare the puttu .. yes it's a good sigh because that shows the quality of the flour... The more water the softer the puttu..Quantity almost doubled after adding water that's again a sigh of well processed flourMy puttu stayed soft for good 6 hrs that's too goodConsNil

For taste, I would give 5 stars....
The taste of this puttu podi, was unique from the regular brands. It was soft to eat and very fresh - feels very much like when your grandma made puttu from scratch. I will definitely continue to buy this The pickle given as a sample along with it, was delicious too.Have bought several more packets since my first review, and have been very satisfied. Hence changing my review from 4 to 5 stars

Not good
Didn't like it. The powder feels more like semolina in texture. Taste isn't very good either.

Poor quality
While preparing for steaming, the podi forms into large balls, and final steamed puttu's texture is unlike other puttu powder. Incidentally, I had specifically mentioned to supply Nirapara brand.
