Hmm. Had a recipe that called for urfa biberI was expecting a smokey chili flavor, but when it arrived I tried a little and it literally tastes like the tobacco from a cigarette. Same texture as well.This may be great urfa biber, but I didn't love it.Great delivery and customer service though.

Bad batch?
The media could not be loaded. Package had clumps of mold in it, had to throw it away unfortunately.

A must try spice! Moist, clean tasty, sweet, with a great mild heat profile that builds.
Wonderful spice, sweet like a raisin with a nice heat profile that builds, definitely worth trying. We liked it so much we sent samples to friends and family to try. It's very moist and fresh, not stale or powdery dry. We're still having fun experimenting with it in different recipes.

Scam..
The product I bought (and the one that was well reviewed) is the chile flakes (Urfa Biber, great for Turkish kebabs). This neck thing is completely unrelated and it's a shame that Amazon seems to be unable to programatically detect this kind of scam (I've been seeing it A LOT).
