Blows Through Water Very Fast
I got this as a cheaper way to maintain humidity in Pinktoe Tarantula tank. This was $10 compared to $80-$100 from pet store for a real mister (although a real terrarium misting machine is much more manageable). It works well but when you submerge mister in water (I use a mug 6" tall by 2.5" wide) the water runs out within 2 minutes so you have to make sure you refill until you are satisfied with humidity level.I use that size mug so I can take it in and out of tank easily so my spider does not fall in and drown. If you are using it for reasons that do not have to do with animals then just make sure you put it in something with a lot of water and put a towel underneath because this gets water everywhere when misting. All in all though I am very satisfied with this especially for the price I paid.Hope this helps!

complete and utter crap
Very disappointed product did not work at all I tried everything to get it to work but I think the wiring is lost somewhere. Looked up videos to see if I was doing something wrong and found out this item is not at all what I wanted. It is just horrible. It is suppose to be submerged and it sprays water everywhere. Not to mention the LEDs that i didn't want. I cant put this in with my crested geckos. It'll cause a panic when they fall in and drown. Complete waste of money.

A solid "meh"
My intended purpose: raising the humidity of an indoor greenhouse where I propagate exotic ficus. Here's what I noticed: it produces a ton of "fog". It does seem to put an electrical charge in the water, it shocked me. It is sensitive to water level: to shallow and I see where it could overheat, too deep and it won't produce the fog.For me, it doesn't meet my needs. It doesn't raise the humidity any more than manually using a spray bottle.

but runs through water too quickly to be a good means of humidifying air
I was NOT expecting the light show I got when I plugged this thing in. It is mostly effective when fully submerged, but runs through water too quickly to be a good means of humidifying air. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to put flashing lights on a terrarium humidifier. I highly recommend NOT buying.

I will probably end up rebuilding the whole thing just so I can disconnect the stupid lights. Also
Meh... It works, sometimes. I really don't see how this is designed for use in a terrarium with the ridiculous flashing lights. It came with no instructions, so I was worried I would do something to damage it. After it not working at first, I decided I didn't care if it broke and opened it up. I will probably end up rebuilding the whole thing just so I can disconnect the stupid lights. Also, instead of a nice soft mist, it pretty much throws water all over the place, with a little bit of fog, if you are lucky.

I love the way our reptile tank looks when the mister ...
I love the way our reptile tank looks when the mister is on. However I do not like the amount of time it stays on maybe only 10 min before it won't work because of the water level so I have to continuously add water( I don't have time for that )

A waste of money
This product is not worth wasting your money on. It does not want to work half the time and when it does not very mist come out but it does shoot water every where no matter how deep of a bowl you put it in. And when you try for a a refund they can't do nothing. Because they can't afford the shipping return and it will cost you more to ship it back then you paid for so I would say don't waste your money on the product.

worked fine for 2 months and then burned up
I have used this humidifier for an iguana terrarium for about 2 months. It has worked fine until about 1.5 weeks ago when the lights on the unit failed. Then I came to my office this weekend to find a horrible smell throughout the office. The poor iguanas had to live with the toxic smell of a humidifier that was essentially melting and burning up. It could have posed a fire danger. And now the unit is beyond the return window :(
