After window cleaners decided that the sloping rear extension roof was not safe to climb was left with three windows that could not be washed. Hanging out the window was not an option and produced poor results. After a review of articles available and based on reviews and cost opted for this IGAD pole. Arrived packaged well and looked like a giant fishing pole. Appears well constructed and within minutes was washing first window. Some reviews have mentioned the threaded area breaking. My opinion is that the cleaning head has been slapped against window and finally the cast thread has given way. I carefully placed head against glass and noticed no issues with thread. The weight may be a concern to some. Used at about 5m the pole is reasonably heavy to operate, but even at first attempt and moving bucket to right distance my threw windows were done in under 10 minutes. Does it do what I wanted, yes, am I happy with cost, yes when compared to self watering options. With care it will years of good service. The pole will last as well! Am thrilled with my purchase. Collapses well and will store easily in garage. May purchase spare cleaning cloths just in case.

Very good pole with easy secure extension giving great reach. The pads are a bit floppy when fitted but worked well enough. Easy to slip off, wash and ring out while cleaning. The squeegee blade is a bit awkward over short reaches, like 4-5 foot. Getting the angle right was difficult - I think the distance between the scrubber and squeegee blade could be increased by perhaps making the squeegee blade tilt forward for correct angle onto the glass. The metal on the back of the rubber blade has very sharp corners and I scratched the window a little while trying to augment the blade on the glass from awkward angles. I placed the microfibre cover over it in the end to prevent accidental scratches while using the scrubber. Using directly under high windows isn't a problem though as the pole is best when near vertical for correct head contact with the window. I think I need more practice with it. Would recommend but be aware of the minor issues.

I’ve only used this device twice, I live on a Terrace street so my ceilings are high and my windows are higher than your average house. I found it difficult to manoeuvre the pole so my windows were not cleaned thoroughly, streaky stains, it’s quite heavy especially when almost fully expanded. I also have to stand in the middle of the street to angle it correctly for the bedroom widow that faces the street side of the house due to lots of parked cars on either side of the street. On the plus side the pole is sturdy, expands and collapses with ease. Rotating head is good so you can click it into various angles. Hoping a few more goes and I’ll get the hang of it. Otherwise it’s back to the pain staking job of finding a reliable window cleaner which is easier said than done.

I live on the third floor property. Add issues getting a window cleaner. Since buying this igad pole. I have lovely clean windows. The only thing it is a little bit heavier.

Good sturdy pole that reaches a long way! Obviously the longer you have the pole the more work your arms have to do. Great for cleaning windows and they sell a useful gutter cleaning scraper that I’ll be getting!

this worked just as described. seems like good quality, however, the first line in the description says 30ft and it is only a 24ft pole. (that is mentioned in the description further down) Most people see the 30 ft think they are getting a 30 ft pole. the description says 24ft pole with a 30ft reach when standing up. that's hilariously deceptive marketing. yes, i should have read the entire description before ordering, but...... Also the reason i did not return this. I really needed a 30ft pole. bummer
