Purchased a couple of weeks back to replace a Draper ratchet screwdriver I have owned for many years which has just started slipping on the ratchet. Love the idea of having a great selection of heads stored in the handle & the ratchet mechanism works great - however, using it today & a gust of wind blew it off the step ladder I had put it on, it fell 4ft onto a path & the top of the plastic handle shattered off. Being Draper I didn’t expect such damage after a small tumble. I know it’s never good practice to throw any tool about - but this was a simple accident which broke the handle ! Great idea, works well but treat it with kid gloves as it won’t stand being dropped.

This feels comfortable in use. The heads jump into their socket ready for use very easily.The negative points are the lack of supplied pozidrive heads and the difficulty in getting the screwdriver open to access the heads (maybe just on mine?).I'm not sure about long term reliability of the ratchet - it feels a touch flimsy but I may be wrong there. With luck it will last some years.

I didn't purchase this from Amazon, I bought mine from FFX as I didn't notice it for sale on here. This is a great little screwdriver, the mechanism seems nice and smooth and the bits in the handle have a spring ejector so pop out when the clips are squeezed. The handle is comfortable to use and the magnetic tip is nice a strong to hold the bit and the screw. I'm surprised how good this product it does the price.Time will tell how long it will last but so far so good.
