works over long distance
Works great, used from my elderly neighbors house to our house (maybe 250+ feet between us) and they still work as intended

Excellent product overall w/4 call buttons
Overall, this is an excellent product, which I would highly recommend. It would be nice if there were a lower volume setting for the receivers lowest volume for both the portable and the plug-in. Plus, while there are a lot of different tones available for use on the receivers, it would be perfectly fine to have less, but have more pleasant tones or music. Most of them are totally inappropriate for sick room use. Finally, it would be nice if one of the call buttons were smaller and mountable on a wristband that could be put on the patients wrist. If you need to have a call button, you certainly don’t want the patient to have to find where it is dangling on their neck or placed somewhere else. The wrist is the most reasonable choice as it is always available to the patient and easy to find, especially if the patient is in bed or sleeping.

New use-Musicians Look At This!
I have used this for musicians in my church when the musician needs to have a visual cue to stop or start the music. (In my case the piano used by musicians put them at angle where they could not see what was happening. They had no visual clues.) You can turn it to silent and stick it in a place the congregation cannot see. Someone presses the button when to stop and start the music. The musician sees the box light up and stops and starts the music without awkward delays.

great for elderly parents
bought this for my parents so my mom doesn’t have to scream for my dad, who can’t hear. now when I want to talk to my dad on the phone, mom presses a button and he finds her to see what’s up. keeps a much calmer vibe in the home! Three things to consider: 1) because of construction of their home which is more commercial (it was once a school) we couldn’t place one of the buttons upright on an outer wall. Sensor was undetectable. It needed to lay flat on a table or upright, but inches in from the wall, like on the leg of a table, so do some testing first. 2) Adhesive is extremely strong & hard to remove, so it stays where you put it. Maybe try it out with masking tape until you’re sure where to place it. 3) Setup is tricky and online video helps, but there’s no way my parents would’ve been able to set this up on their own. ****Highly recommend!!!!!****

works! The only thing is....
I bought for my parents who live in the house next door (behind me). I bought some extra buttons totaling 8. One for each of them if they want to wear around their neck during the day. One to hang in each bathroom. one on each nightstand. one in kitchen and one in garage. They are less than 500 feet away, about 300 or so. The receivers (2) will ring in my house and I got a remote receiver that I wear if I am outside like in the yard. The only thing is that it will only chime 2 times for each press . So, it they only press the button once, it will only chime to me 2 times. Well let's say if it is not heard( like if I am unloading my car or in the shower) I won't know that it went off. So, inform the person to press it several times, at least 3 or 4 times if they need help. That's the only thing that might be a problem. Otherwise, I really like it and hopefully we won't ever need it. I got it for my parents who are in their mid 90's. Thankfully, they are healthy but will get confused in an emergency and it gives Mom some peace of mind. On a side note, the first night she slept with it under her pillow and it chimed me about 10 times at 530 am!!! You already can guess the rest. Lol. Buy it, get it and get extra buttons and receivers if you must.

Worked til one didnt
Got this in dec 2023.. have two outside in 2 different polebarns approx 150 or so feet from the house n one in the house. It's nice they have a number of ringtones but sadly the only one I found bearable was the doorbell sound.. n it gets a little.comfusing when fedex shows up. I got these for my 89 yr old mom. Here's what I liked: they worked n from quite a distance from the house n inside the house. The button pushes easy. It does have a volume button on the receiver. The batteries have lasted over a yr without having to be replaced. What i didn't like. One of the receivers just recently quite working n i dont see that I can just order an additional one without buying a whole new set. My mom wears it around her neck n it is quite large n cumbersone at times, but its also easier for her to find. But when she is sleeping n lays on it. It also will then give false alerts for help. It defintely needs better options for soundsConclusion. For the past yr it has been a great asset to have in caring for my mom. We've had no difficulties with it for the past yr til now when one receiver stopped working.
