I worked in a career that was very physically and mentally demanding and was injured more times than I can count. After having multiple chest surgeries in under 2 years I was tired of trying to wrap those huge elastic bandages that were put on at the hospital by Nurses. At home it was just me. So I found these and several other brands on Amazon, the first binder I bought literally came apart unraveling in mere days. But then I read the information on these and thought why not? They are listed as rib brace for fracture ribs which I’ve had before so I figured it would work on the chest just as easy. I got the first one I ordered quickly and tried it immediately. I ordered another one on my next order! It was comfortable, it did not fall apart, I bought it a size larger due to swelling in my pectoral muscles and could start it on right side, rap it all the way around and adjust the tightness easily and would go across my chest again and I pushed the Velcro down on my left side. So I had two layers across the chest and one all the way around. It did not slide down like latex bandages, it didn’t get tighter or looser unless I adjusted it, it was wide enough to hold chest bandages in place and I hardly even noticed it was on. I was very happy with quality, comfort and ordered the extra so I could wash them and let one dry while using the other. I’ve had them for over a year and they are still in great shape and Velcro still sticks fine any were I attach it. I also order the same brand abdominal binder because they were wider for my back which I have Degenerative Disc Disease and my vertebrae are crushing my bones, I’ve lost 2 inches in height and I have horrible back pain. The chest binder actually worked on my lower back too but I wanted something a little wider due to the vertebrae were hurting in a larger area. I actually bought one two big the first time but reordered a size less and they are same quality. Needless to say but I found this brand of brace that works great, easy to use and I am going to buy a few more so I have them if I ever need more. You won’t be able to find a better brace for the money. These well exceeded my expectations and I am a customer for life. I want to buy extra because it seems every time I find something that works, I can’t find again when needed. Some of my surgeries were difficult due to the chest tubes and drains so I would like to have a few more so I have enough to change out while washing one that may have been soiled while changing bandages underneath daily. Easy application, great fit and protected the ribs from moving freely

This is a nice binder. I got it to help me recover from back surgery. It helped to hold ice packs in place and made me feel more confident walking around the house. It helped a lot with the pain. The Velcro holds it on place well. I’d give it five stars but taking it off and on a few times a day for a few weeks really wore at it and it’s getting snags and wearing out. I guess that’s to be expected. But it’s still working and it did the job very well. It’s recommend it. I’d just say be aware that it does wear out with frequent use. It’s not meant to last a long time but it will get you through a month or so of heavy use. So that’s pretty good.

I had the joy of having pneumonia and pulled a rib muscle. This wrap was so helpful supporting my abdomen and ribcage which decreased my pain. I am a size 16 with a large belly and this fit well with lots of extra length.

Comfortable to wear- for both short, and long term, stays in place, and is good for a petite female where so many of these braces are meant for larger adults. The velcro is truly a strong one meant to stay in place, and it shows! So far it is working wonderfully! I'm very happy so far with my purchase and will order another as a backup for travel.**UPDATE:The brace material is still soft, and comfortable no matter how tight I wear it, or length of time. However, once the brace is on and closed, the velcro is nearly impossible to pull apart. It has an extremely strong grip, which, with my arthritic hands, leaves me in major pain attempting to remove it. While it's a good thing for it to stay on so firmly, it's also a detriment to those with limited hand mobility, or dexterity. If it weren't for this, I'd buy more of them.Because of this, I'll give it a 3 now, which is a shame. Good product. Too tough to remove.

I just received this brace a couple days ago, but it really helps with my bruised ribs. It’s good support without being uncomfortable.

Worked Perfect, Would I buy it Again? Hopefully Not, The Velcro Type Material is Amazing and compression should Last for Years, Unless Your into Cage Fighting.

Popped three ribs over the weekend and needed something to support the while healing. This fit the bill perfectly. Handy picture instructions included and applying the wrap was easy. Velcro is strong enough to keep wrap in place. No roll down due to the dip in the womens version to go under the chest.
