Well-Engineered and Manufactured Pole Attachment with Effortless Spray Lever.
This attachment was required to deploy carpenter ant spray about 16 feet up a tree. The pole was extended to around 17 feet so I would not be standing under the area sprayed. This unit is made to be light so as not to add weight on an extended pole. Every ounce matters when holding and maneuvering something from that distance. Its weight is deceptive as the material is very strong--light but strong. The can attachment is a black band with a center hand-turned screw thread. The first time, it took me less than a minute to screw it to the pole and attach the can. There is around 20 feet of pull string that attaches to the lever that presses down on the can's spray nozzle. The way this lever is designed is perfect, so it will not hang up on the nozzle and requires minimal pulling effort to spray your product. The last thing you want is to struggle deploying product while trying to maintain control of the pole. This device delivered and is a happy addition to my tool collection.

Yowza! Works great for killing wasps at a great distance!
Used for the first time this morning to drench a wasp nest that was a the peak of my two story home. I used a 30 ft extension pole, the sprayer adapter and some extra string. Toughest thing was balancing the super long bendy pole into position. Once there, I pulled the string and bam! Got'em! I bought this particular design instead of some of the cheaper knockoffs since it can also be used with trigger spray bottles and dusters. I plan to use the trigger spray option to zap box elder bugs at the roof line. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, for me (and the bugs) this will get a lot of use!

Worked great! Sturdy construction
I had a huge wasp nest in the peak of my 2 story home, about 30 feet from the ground. I was able to thread this device securely on the top of a standard painters extension pole and after some experimenting with the proper angle of the can, I was able to spray wasp killer right onto the nest. The string you use to trigger the spray was long enough even with my 20-foot extension pole, and it seems strong enough that you won't have to worry about it snapping. The way the can attaches to the device seems better on this product than on most of the other competing products. You can tighten up the belt as much as you want, and it never slipped or moved when I used it.

Works well but had one issue.
The unit arrived in good condition and with good packaging. It seems like a quality unit.My frustration with this product stems from the provided adapter that screws onto an extension pole.I have done extensive paint work around the home and own about 6 different types of extension poles with threaded ends. In all my years of painting, changing light bulbs, using leftover poles as broomhandles screw ins, etc. I have never found any extension pole to be incompatible with any product that allowed a screw in attachment.Until now! Apparently they are using a 3rd party for the screw in adapter which attaches to your extension pole. The product they use for this is called "Mr Longarm"... It did not work. It would not thread onto a very high quality Purdy painting pole, it would not thread onto a lower quality paint extension pole. And, would not even thread correctly onto a cheap broom handle. Obviously, if you are going to be using this for long reach applications (bees, etc) you need a decent pole. Their attachment is defective. The Gotcha Sprayer part seems good enough but it is of no use if you can't thread it onto an extension pole due to low quality control on the threading adapter part. Very disappointed in this glitch with this product. Trust me, I tried many different options and methods to get this to thread, Pushing harder, lightly, strongly, setting it with a whack of a rubber hammer to start it, all to no avail, the threads would never line up (and no I did not mess up the threads myself trying to get it on)- it is something incorrect in the mold of the threads - it does not allow you to push the threaded end in far enough before you start turning and it will cross thread (aka strip) the plastic threads (this may be a one off issue with the adapter I received but in looking closely at the threads, I did not see any defective looking threading , plastic mold problem in manufacture, everything looked like it should). In all my years of buying paint roller frames, brooms, etc, I have never seen a receiving end that would not thread easily - especially with such large coarse threads. This prevented me from doing my project on the day I planned to do it (trying to quickly dispatch some bees before they get too active and sting my family) and now will necessitate a trip to local hardware to see if I cant figure out a solution, another days or two delay which I did not plan on because there was poor QC on the adapter part of this product. One more issue: I am reading the "Limited Warranty" on the Gotcha Sprayer and it states...90 days...return the Gotcha Sprayer (postage prepaid)...a replacement sprayer will be sent to you. WOW, because you sent me a defective product, you will make ME pay shipping back to you!!! Great.Update: I Managed (against my better judgement) to force the adapter to screw onto the Purdy metal screw end of my extension pole - it did not go on willingly and was super hard to screw on. Looking at the threads it also ruined some of the threads in doing so but it held firm enough. I eventually removed it from the Purdy pole and bought a very light weight 12 foot extension as holding the very heavy duty Purdy pole was too much weight when held out lengthwise (not straight up) and trying to hold pole with one hand and pull string with the other. You might want to consider this when buying a pole as if you are trying to stay far away (spraying or puffing a bees nest) you will want the pole fully extended with you at the very far end of it - a long pole gets very heavy unless you are holding it upright. Trying to hold a 12 foot pole with one hand and pull a string with the other is not too easy.I am changing my review to give this product 4 stars but still not happy with the adapter threading issue. Final not - when I threaded the Gotchas Sprayer onto the lighter weight pole (with plastic threads) it seemed to go on much better and I am not sure if that was due to my stripping the threads and forcing a new thread pattern of some inconsistency in the thread patterns among pole. Whatever the Gotcha Sprayer works - if only I didn't have so much trouble with the adapter. I used this with the Delta Dust and puffer combo and it worked very well mechanically - now have to wait and see if the yellow jackets are gone.

Expensive but does a good job
I had a large hornet nest at the top of my two story house. Used this attachment with my Mr Longarm pole extended about 20 feet. It allowed me to get the spray can about 2 feet away and douse the nest. It is a big nest and ended up taking two applications to kill all the hornets. I opted for the more expensive "Pro" version but the homeowner version probably would have worked the same. I think it is pretty expensive for what it is but it worked well and was much safer than trying to spray the nest while on a ladder. Overall it was definitely worth getting.

Great help!
Bought this to spray gutter sealant. My gutters are 24+ off of the ground in some spots and ladder access is difficult. Used this to spray from the end of a 24’ paint roller pole. It is sturdy and worked well. Had to extend the pull string an extra 7’, but no problem. A really great help in this situation!
