Cat loves it, but please read instructions!
Please understand that it is VERY important to read the instructions. Most low reviews are purchasers who clearly opened the stick and just threw it on the ground. Do NOT do this. For example, the instructions state you should only use these in 30-minute sessions. Also, always package these in a sealable bag between uses to keep fresh. Depending on your cat, you may need to engage him/her for a bit for your cat to gain interest in this stick. Mine didn't care for this product too much, but after a while she loved it. Now she'll play with it for a bit, jump to the toys she normally doesn't play with, rub up against the carpet/chairs, play w/ her interactive toys for a bit, and just have a blast. She absolutely loves these sticks. However, if you purchase this product, please please please read the instructions and use with caution. This isn't an ordinary stick.

Fun find
We have 3 cats, with 3 very different personalities. The female isn't really into catnip so she wasn't a fan of these. In fact, she looked at us like we were idiots for even offering it to her. That's a normal thing for her unless you're giving her shrimp, whole milk, or something else horribly spoiled cats aren't supposed to have. The oldest cat is a male shorthair tux, he enjoyed playing with these during a Twitchy Cat episode (that's what it's called when they randomly get crazy/playful for no reason). This cat enjoys playing fetch with fuzz balls & Chinese finger traps so I think that's why he enjoyed the sticks. The youngest cat is a male medium hair tux & he freaking loved these. He just turned 1 yr old & has the most energy of the 3 cats. At one point he chewed on the stick like a dog on a bone, hilarious to watch!!We are storing these in the catnip container to keep the smell/flavor strong & only give them nip a few times a week to keep it as a treat.

Kind of like a dog's Dental Chew
This is the first time I have ever bought these sticks for my cats (4 of them, ages 14 to 1). They arrived promptly and were packaged in foil to protect them and their smell (I assume). My 3 younger cats were interested in them and played with them for a bit, but didn't have as strong a reaction to them as they do to the best catnip. That was a little disappointing as I had hoped for much frivolity! Truthfully, though they like catnip, they don't go crazy wild with that either. But, as all cat owners know, cats are fickle. What I do like about the sticks is, well, they are sticks. When the cats do play with them, they chew on them, which I think is a way they can clean their teeth. If your cat has a great reaction to catnip, it will probably go crazy over these stick and play with them a lot. I'm happy with the service I got from the company and the fact that I got exactly what is pictured. And I know that what my cats are somewhat "eh" about, some of the many kittens I foster are going to absolutely love!

Some potent "nip"!
These are amazing! Our two cats love them but my Mother's cat didn't. She was kind of distracted at the time so we're going to try again later. It did take a little while, a minute or so, before my cats seemed to react to them but once they nudged them around they caught on. I have never seen cats get "stoned" this quickly. There's a reason why the description says to only let them have it for a half hour or so. If it's possible for them to OD it would happen pretty quick. I have bought dried catnip grass in the past and they loved it but it diminishes in potency the longer it's out. I think these sticks will last a lot longer and they don't make a mess. I'm going to give one to my neighbor's cat and see what happens.

My cats are not at all interested in these
I purchased these because my cats have some tooth and gum issues and I thought they would serve as kind of kitty toothbrushes.Frankly, my two cats just aren't that interested in them. One cat was intrigued and batted the stick around while it was in my hand, but walked off once I placed it on the floor. The other cat couldnt be bothered. Sigh.No doubt some cats will be thrilled and all over these, but not mine.Edited 4/2 to downgrade rating:Except for a brief flurry of interest from my desperate-to-please cat, followed by profound apathy, these things have gone unnoticed and unused. One has been resting in front of the dry food bowl for a week, and nobody cares. Total waste of intention and money. Perhaps NinjaCats are different?

Meh...
These appear to be just plain old sticks.... I did everything the guide said to do if my pet wasn't interested - wiggled them around, tried to play with them, placed them in various parts of the house, even rubbed them IN actual catnip, and my cats - my FIVE cats that is - STILL had absolutely NO interest in them. Normally I could rub an old shoe in catnip and my cats will go nuts, but these sticks weren't the least bit interesting to them, sadly. I think fifteen dollars for a bag of ordinary sticks is way too much, but I still give the company two stars for innovation and for trying to create eco-friendly alternatives.

AWESOME!
All three of my cats are INSANELY in love with these sticks! One walks around with a stick in his mouth and every few steps will stop and roll on it, or hold it between his front paws and rub his face on it. The two girls hold them with their front paws and bunny kick them with their rear legs, or they roll and rub themselves on them. I have these things all over the house. My fur babies are delighted with them, which means that I am too.

My Kitty gave this two paws down.
My kitty loves catnip but she wasn't the least bit interested in these. Well, not any more interested than she is in any random stick that I'm holding and moving around, but when I let go, she walks away. In fact, I left one on the floor to see if she'd go back to it later, but she seemed to actually avoid the part of the room where the stick was resting. So definitely not for her. Other cats will almost certainly have other opinions, though. As any cat lover knows, cats are not happy unless they're unpredictable! :-D
