How to use the EL-50448 relearn tool? Step 1 - Set the car to TPMS relearn mode. (The car will horn twice) Step 2 - Starting from the left front tire, press and hold the unit next to the valve, then press the white button and the horn will sound once. Step 3 - Follow this order to reset the TPMS one by one: Front Right, Rear Right, Rear Left Tire. After all sensors are reset, car angle twice means TPMS relearning is complete. How to put your car into TPMS restart mode? 1. Put the gear in the P position. 2. Use Cruise to select TPMS Relearn Mode in Dashboard Settings. 3. The horn will sound twice, the TPMS indicator will flash, and then the learning mode has been successfully entered. (If equipped, the message center will display the front left (LF) tire) 4. Before the tire pressure monitoring system works properly, the BCM will record the ID information for each location in the tire pressure sensor.

Worked on my 2018 silverado
Like the title says it worked perfectly for my 18 silverado. Dealer said 2014-2018 silverados/GMG sierras got the 315Mhz sensors and the 2019+ have the 433Mhz FYI.Turn key to run but not start the truck, scroll thru the info pages till you see all 4 tire pressures, hold the check mark button till it honks twice and message says tire pressure monitor learning active. Then start at front left (the turn signal will be lit up on that corner) hold this device near the valve stem and press and release the button once. The green LED will begin to flash rapidly and hold it there till the horn honks signaling the truck has read the sensor. Then repeat for the front right, rear right, rear left. Once your done with the rear left it will honk once signaling it read the tire, then pause then honk twice to tell you its done learning. The in vehicle display will show the current tire PSI.So simple to use and for the minimal cost and quick learning its handy to have around the garage. Like any electronic device i would pop the 9V battery out during storage so it cant leak inside this device.

Works as described
I have a 2017 Chevy suburban and I was tired of every time my tires were rotated, they would always have the sensor position wrong. So I found this and for the money, figured it was with a shot. My girl also has a 2016 gmc Acadia, so it should work with hers as she gets the same problem. I used it and it worked perfectly on my suburban. I was so happy. Then I tried it on the Acadia, and although to put her SUV into learn mode is a bit different, the tool still worked perfectly. For the money, this is a great tool to have if you own any GM vehicle. It says from 2005-2021 and makes things so much easier with it's price and ease of use. I would rather have this then do the let a lot of air out of the tire to trigger the sensor in learn mode then have to put more air back in that you just let out. Great product and price.

Works great with Chevrolet and GMC
Easy to use device to relearn the TPMS monitor positions after tire rotations. The only negative I could find with it there wasn’t a (+) or (-) polarity indicator where the 9 volt battery goes. The battery will fit in either orientation. One way works. The other way doesn’t. Not a big deal for me. I just used a permanent marker to label the correct orientation on the device. If you think your unit isn’t working, the battery may just not be installed correctly.

WORKS only for GMC/FORD
I put 4 stars because free returns, this item does not work with Lexus and Toyota.

Great product, worked perfectly on my 2020 HD2500
Had a tire failure during a long RV trip. Had a small town mechanic replace two tires and rotate them. He couldn't get the sensors to reset using the manual method. I tried to reset the sensors manually as well and finally gave up. When I got back home I called my usual go to auto repair place and they wanted to charge $50 to resync the sensors. No way that seemed expensive for a very simple procedure. So, I opted in for this little gadget and it worked perfectly and it saved me $40! Took less than a minute to resync all four tires.

Not so easy to use but worked eventually
It took like forever to find the sweet spot on three of my four tires. First one hit and worked great. The second not so great nothing nothing nothing. If you go out of order and skip that one your car won’t know that and assume it was the next tire in line. What I mean by that simplest way of saying it. The order they first appear as you click you dash and check them individually. That’s the order you want to start with and follow as you program them. I already knew that but some may not because they don’t state that. I believe my order was L.R.,,,L.F,,,R.F,,,R.R. If I remember correctly so for the ones who don’t know that??? You do now. It doesn’t tell you that anywhere so that’s why I’m putting it out there. The second issue also eventually becomes a non problem was it had to be positioned just perfectly or it would not read. Once you find the sweet spot. It started off great as I said. Go to first tire and it did it’s thing. Fast too. So I’m thinking this is the greatest thing since sliced bread and I trot over to the next tire like ya I’m bad I’m bad, keel down go for the second tire,,, hummmm, ok what’s going on. 🤔great start over. Go back to first tire. Bam, got it again no problem. Stand up again like I’m Johnny good wrench and trot to second tire🤔😠so I’m about 😡 here by now but ok start over. So now I’m not feel as confident but think I’m going to out smart my car😳🙄 if it doesn’t work this time I’ll run to the third tire and just remember that my L.F. Was actually my R.F. And so fourth. Hey that shit worked!!! I just gained all my confidence back and stand up and trot again like I got this shit no problem. Go to the fourth tire😟😖🤬start over. I eventually ended up getting it and since then I’ve tried it twice just because im stupid like that. I believe it to be my inner child besides I and got it the final couple times I tried. So yeah look at me now. Yes I should have left well enough alone but it worked out the last two times so my confidence was higher than my brain. I’m old and I’m a retired A.S.E. Master certified auto mechanic so I need all the confidence I can get at my age. So I’m through playing with it now and can say it works great if and when you find all the sweat spots. Until then you will probably be having the same thoughts as to what was running through my head. I came up with all kinds of new places the company could shove it. Yeah I’m not proud of that. But hey, that’s if it made it back in one piece😡 But I I finally got it and it just took patience but I’m old and don’t have time for patience. My clock here is most definitely ticking and patience sounds like it takes too much time. So I went from calm to wanting it destroyed to teach it a lesson. Take that!!! But the next morning I tried again and was able to get all four in the proper order thank you very much. So that’s how it went for me and the rating to me is accurate. But if you have patience it does work and for the price I think it’s worth it. Now anyways! Hope that helped someone. Or confused everyone

Works on 2019 Sierra Duramax
2019 2500 GMC Duramax. Put sensor at valve stem and it would not work. Read directions and said to put sensor on side wall of tire by the valve stem. I did that and it worked like a charm. I did buy then returned a TPMS tool that would work on GM and Ford and that one would work at the valve stem of the tire. It was double the price but it did work better. I'll keep this one because it works. Just have to put the TPMS sensor on the side wall of the tire. No biggie as long as it works.
