This knife is very sharp and is excellent! As a paring knife. It is heavy so the material is not cheap junk. It is a high quality knife for the money. Fits very nice in your hand as the handle is nice and smooth and it all seems to be one piece, no rough edges. Very nice to use and would highly recommend. I am very picky about my knives so spend a little extra to get a decent paring knife.
