It worked for a few months. The black piece that connects into the power plug got hot and fell apart. I can't use the ring at all now. I feel like I wasted my money and have to buy another light.

I like and it really works.Also I saw some reviews where they say it turn on or just flashes and shuts off instantly- try changing the power block, at first I used an apple 32 watt block but just flashed and nothing else but then I used A fast charger from Samsung (I put a picture of it also) and it works perfectly fine now. Regardless I’m gonna keep an eye on this product and see with this block with there’s any issues and update if anything changes.

This item arrived broken with missing items, it was clearly returned then shipped out. I am super disappointed as this was a gift for my sister who was super excited upon its arrival. Shame on you Amazon for even allowing it to leave your facility like this. The clicker is missin, wires hanging everywhere, only the ring wa sin the box.no pole no bag or anything. I bought this same light myself a week ago. My sister liked it so much I ordered her one...please see the pictures

This light works well and provides more than enough illumination at a reasonable distance. The remote takes some time to dim, the USB cord is not long enough to reach most places, I ended up using an external USB battery pack instead.

My ring is situated on a mount at the same distance as my camera. My camera's low light performance is pretty typical. At the distance from the subject, the ring is too dim. It would have been helpful to list the lumens of the ring at full power for each of the 3 temperature settings. I would have known to buy something with more power.

Disappointed. iPhone 12 Max Pro won't fit. Have mine is Otter Box case. Returning.

This is a great starter kit for someone like me just starting out. The only issue i have is the remote that came with it to help you take picture with your phone doesn’t work. It connects but doesn’t work. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting. I’ve even tried different phone. I’m not sure if I got a defective one but mines does not work. Other than that, it’s doing what I need.

My first impression unpacking the item was a light weight, possibly to light and not robust, but what do you expect for the cost.As you can see from the included images selfies are not my intended use but as a macro ring light.The tripod phone holder mounted low to the ground with the addition of a couple of my Velcro straps safely holds a power bank adds ballast to steady the overall tripod which gets away from the potential top heavy design and powers the ring light wherever I want to use it. Unscrew the ring light phone holder and test.I was very close sending it straight back, but having tested on an old pond coin and miniature Rose I'm initially pleasantly surprised.

As you can see in the video the stand can be extended quite high, is very sturdy even on my plushy carpet and has three sections you can extend. I loved the size of the light it’s the perfect size for using when I do lash extensions, however as you can see when I turn the light on it doesn’t stay on. I’ve tried two plugs, three plug sockets and plugging it into my laptop but unfortunately still having the same problem. It’s such a shame as my main problem is finding a good stand. Now I find one but it seems there is a fault with the electrics in my light.

This product arrived quickly and well packaged in a nice case. I had high hopes, but the quality is relatively poor. The ring light isn't bright enough and the remote controller broke before I could even use it.

If you're looking to vlog or keep the light running past 5min I wouldn't recommend this product at all. The USB connection gets hot and the light will just cut out. It does switch straight back on but will then run for less and less each time.I did my research and read a lot of reviews for a lot of different ring lights. This one came highly rated and well-reviewed but after the very first day of use, the product is useless! I will be returning mine in the hope of a full refund.Overall the appearance is great (albeit a bit plasticky). Perhaps I just got sent a faulty one but be aware that this is happening before you buy.

Item extends to so much taller than I’d expected which is great. It is sturdy, bright & does the job well. The carry case is a lovely addition. The remote function works for video & photos, and also works in apps such as snap chat. Amazing item.
