Does this fit as a replacement for nerf rival perses

This is for a futaba style transmitter. To replace 8 double A batteries.

I have a 9.6v jet boat with this shape battery but this says "low discharge" will this work in the boat itself?

Well, I am no expert on batteries. I can give my opinion, however. If your boat is a high performance craft, it probably should use LiPo batteries, because they will release power much faster than a NiH battery. Of course, you will need a ESC to prevent the LiPo from discharging below the minimum before damage results. If you look at the size of the battery wires in the Nih battery, and compare them to the LiPo cells, you will see why the LiPo battery has the larger wires, it will discharge much faster, and give you that rush of power. The term Low Discharge to me, means you cannot drain the Nih battery at a fast rate. Hope this helps. Regards, Robert....

Will it work with my AT9 transmitter?

Check the size/ format for this battery. Same size as the AA cell packs of this shape. It should look the same as your current battery, so it will fit. For the included connecter, which is of the universal type, if that does not plug into your transmitter, simply snip it off, and solder on your presently used one. Value of this current battery pack, is the significantly increased m/a capacity, (over NiCad), in the same size pack, and the relatively low price. The one I got, works very well in my Futaba transmitter. No needed change of connecter. If you get this pack, make sure to up the charging rate, as this is a larger m/a pack than the replaced NiCad one... The extra m/a have to come from somewhere !! Regards, Robert.

Can I use a nicd charger with the Nimh battery?

Depends on the charger. The answer to this question depends on the type of NiCd charger. Depending on the type of NiCd charger you have, the older NiCd charger may undercharge NiMH batteries (most likely), it may overcharge them (less likely), or it may charge NiMH batteries properly (but it's not likely to do so automatically and could take a very long time).You can find used Astroflight chargers on ebay for real cheap. Or a new iCharger.

Great quality batteries for the price

I use these batteries in my transmitters to fly remote controlled airplanes. The quality of these batteries is excellent, they do as they should and hold their charge very well. I now have three of these being used as replacements for the batteries that came stock with the radios. The performance is much better than the stock battery and the price at Amazon is better than anywhere else I found. After seeing the results that I have gotten with these batteries, several friends in my flying club also ordered them and are happy with them too. Good product, reasonable price and fast shipping...doesn't get any better than that.

And the JR XP6102 flies again!

With a little soldering, shrink wrap and robbing the connector off the old battery pack, this fit my old JR XP6102 aircraft radio perfectly! A far cheaper option than a new radio and crazy high capacity! The old pack was only 600mah.

Renovating an older R/C transmitter

This is actually a transmitter battery and not one for a receiver. I purchased this to reactivate a 1990s vintage Airtronics six channel R/C system that still is still legal. The battery fit easily into the transmitter and the plug fit into the connector. The plug needed to be changed as the order of the wires is opposite current practice. This is not a defect, merely reflecting current practice. When original the negative wire was in the center and positive on the outside but current practice is the opposite. I cut and resoldered but the plug might be one that allows a tab to be lifted so the wires can be removed and then reinserted. Keep this in mind if you are replacing in an older system and match the plug to the original.

Got my older DX7 working great again.

Works great on my 1ST gen (SILVER DSM2) Spektrum DX7. I wanted to stay with NiMH (vs Lipo 'upgrade') so that my meter and low battery warning stayed the same.
