All-Star S7 Axis Baseball Leg Guards Ages 9 to 16, Meets NOCSAE Standard

Got these for my son. He’s a freshman in high school, about 5’ 6. They fit well, with room to grow into them. All-Star makes quality gear, and these are no exception. Plenty of coverage, yet ample mobility. And they don’t slide around or come off when he’s moving around behind the plate, which obviously is paramount. You won’t be disappointed, by these. I’m sure I’ll pick up another pair of All-Stars if my sons outgrows these and is still playing.

My son goes through a set of gear each year. He played Varsity level baseball since Freshman year and for a travel team in the summer. When he was younger, he would always want the Under Armour brand, which is made by All-Star. The cost wasn't much of a difference so I'd get that for him. Colors are limited with Under Armour, especially off season when we tried to stretch his last set and we couldn't find a matching set of leg guards that matched his still good chest protector. We decided to go with these, and they color matched perfectly. I think I can finally start buying All-Star gear for him now instead of being limited buying the other brand. This gear has done it's job throughout the years. He's been trucked many times during a play at the plate. He's had to block many a curball in the dirt. The countless foul tips, that make me wince every so often. Is he sore after the game, sure, but the protection does it's job.

Excellent coverage on every part of the leg. The connected straps in the back help make them quicker to put on.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought these for my son this season, he said they are easier to run with and get down to block balls.
