ordered two, put end to end for length of hearth. very high quality. double sided sticky tape has no problem adhering to old brick. i put it on while my 10mo old son wasn’t in room. he’s pulled on it and it comes a bit loose but doesn’t pull off. it’s very good high quality squishy foam and has literally SAVED his face from scratches.

I've used a few other edge guards and the've been good, but this one happened to be the color i needed so i gave it a shot (it is as pictured). It is super cushiony, in a different way from other brands, it feels thick even though its not, which is good. It does not come with 3M tape like most others, but the tape is working for us so far. We are using it on our stone fireplace edge. I liked that it has the option of the 2 different size surfaces to face out. I wouldn't recommend it for thin items like a glass top coffee table or thin wood top table, but for anything with a larger surface area to protect it would work well.

Easy 5 star if they'd include a more appropriate double stick tape. The included tape is junk. You should plan on getting something more substantial, our 1 year old ripped it right off on the first night. But, it is a great product. I still havn't decided what exactly I'm going to use to install. I'm hesitant to use foam tape as when it's time to uninstall the guard, you'd probably have to rip everything up and it would destroy the foam protector. Need something strong enough to withstand a toddler's "rip it off" strength, but not so strong you can't uninstall it without destroying the foam. Currently looking at really strong velcro options.

Actually bought because my work desk was hurting my arms after leaning them on it all day. It's fantastic for that. Just have it held on by a couple of pieces of rolled up Scotch tape, so having adhesives stick to the bumper is no problem.

We purchased this to help protect our baby as he was learning to walk as our fireplace is pretty sharp especially the two corners. Installation was easy with my and my husband working together to stretch it around the corners. We did run out of the adhesive so there is a small part that doesnt have any but it hasnt effected the function of the item. I would recommend!We have had it on for 3 weeks or so and its holding up very well

We have a hearth with a large, semi-circle brick footing, in our play area of all places. I was consistently terrified that a child was going to lose teeth on that brick edge. This padding helps alleviate some of that fear. With between 2 to 8 year old children playing in that area, we haven't had any problems with the kids peeling it up. The adhesive strips work well and it stays in place. It is padded enough that I am sure that a falling child would suffer little to no damage if they hit the corner of the brick now. Now if I could just remove the brick altogether...

I literally order 6 different brands/colors of edge guards for my fireplace and wasn’t happy with color or quality...and then finally stumbled across this one! It’s high quality, thick and much more durable material than any of the other ones. And I LOVE the color!!! It’s a gray/beige color that no other company sells!Warning - I am using my bumper on a tile fireplace, but I could see that the tape used on this bumper and probably most other bumpers would definitely peel paint or finish off of a different kind of surface. But it sticks really well!!!

This stuff is perfect to pad the long, sharp edge of our coffee table! It also also hides the two broken, jagged corners (our last move was rough on our furniture)! I don’t have to worry about our little 3 year old needing stitches from it, and my clumsy shins are now safe as well!
