I have ordered and slept on a wide variety of sheets at many different price points and degrees of quality. Was very happily surprised by these, especially for the price. They are thick and comfortable. Warm and soft but also breathable and cooling. The blue looks great and seems to be holding up well (just one wash so far). The deep pockets and elastic for the fitted sheet work well. The hems (?) don't wrinkle down on themselves. Really hate that with cheaper materials and these just have the feel of good quality overall. Would not care to look for another brand at this point. Thinking of ordering another set just for future use even though this was intended for a backup set. Attractively packaged and would make a nice gift too.

Received this sheet set today. They are a crisp, mid-weight smooth cotton and washed beautifully! The pictures show them straight out of the dryer with minimal wrinkles (so far). The fitted sheet covers my 14" mattress well and could handle a 16" mattress perfectly. The top sheet is very generous on the sides and the length seems better than average. Couldn't wait to dive under the covers; they feel incredible, too! Best linen I've had in years and at an extremely affordable price. Will be ordering a second set and a set for the guest room!

I have a set of California Den Design 1000 count in queen and King . I love them. Nice, heavy sheets. Almost no wrinkles after moving from dryer. Shrinkage is minimal using warm water and dryer- warm, wrinkle free setting on dryer. It has tags on bottom sheet showing you the sides for head/toe, so you put sheet on your bed correctly. No guessing.

I have had these sheets for about two weeks now. They have been washed three times and get softer with each wash. Coming out of the package there was no funky odor or anything. They were a nice softness coming out of the package and as it should be, with cotton sheets, they seem to get softer each time I wash them. The color was spot on, the thickness of the sheets is very nice and the stitching appears strong. They pockets are deep and fit my mattress great! I even have a 4 inch memory foam topper on top of my mattress and they still fit and stay in place. I am very please with these sheets and will be buying them in additional colors.

They sheets are nice and thick but not as soft as I expected.

Got these on a Prime Day deal. Great price and nice quality! The fabric is wonderful. I washed them and am now using them for the first time. The weight is awesome, just what I'd expect at this TC. They're not yet quite as soft as the 1000-TC sheets I've used for 10 years now, though I've found it takes several washes to really bring out the softness of new sheets. They seem very well made, and I was happy to see that the company is in the US (even in the SF Bay Area, like me), though I assume manufacturing is done in India.After washing, the head end of the top sheet was unfortunately all wrinkly even though I removed and folded the sheets promptly. However, my other sheets have the same issue, so I think the fault is with the front-loading washer/dryer (as seems the case with many newer energy-saving washer/dryers).Overall, I'm happy with these 1000-TC, 100% long-staple cotton sheets and give them a solid 4.75 stars. I'll update this review if needed.

I honestly don’t write reviews but I wanted to let people know how much I like these sheets. I bought a (split king) set 4 or so years ago and have loved how they have worn over the years. They are nice and soft and have a luxurious thread count. I bought them initially for their good reviews and decent pricing. I decided to rebuy them when another makers flat sheet ripped one night as I was trying to pull the covers up. I had spent significantly more for that set and had those sheets for probably 10 years so I couldn’t complain, but when I needed to buy new I didn’t hesitate to rebuy these, and finding them on sale at the time made them a true steal!

I've tried numerous sheet sets -- all purporting to have impossibly high thread courts and be of top quality and all have been terribly disappointing. The California Design Den sheet set is amazing. Forget about the thread count. The weight of a sheet is three times heavier than any other sheet. The sheets are super luxurious, thick and soft. I tested these sheets for thickness and hand feel against my Hotel sheets of 15 years ago (when Hotel sheets were really good). These sheets compared well. I have an 11" queen mattress on a platform bed. I ordered the Queen set and they were too large. To shrink them, I washed them in hot water and dried them on high heat. They shrank a few inches in each direction. They were still too big so I tailored them to my bed size. The sheets will last decades and I'm so pleased to have found quality when quality is a rare thing today.

Poor quality, hanging threads, a grey stain, wavy stiches. Proclaimed 1000 thread count is a joke, can literally see through the bed sheet. I compared to my current sheets with 600 thread, and mine are thicker and the fabric is more even and smoother. I won't recommend this product. Overpriced poor quality crap made in India. Huge disappointment.
