I order this in a 4XL... Yes I seen the reviews "It runs small" (I normally wear a 2XL and like tight tees that accentuates my body of Greek God stature) so I said to myself, "Self, they are just being dramatic and I really like the design of this shirt so let's go 4XL to be safe." Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I think these sizes might be measured using mutant midget malnourished man babies from the Machu Picchu Mountains. This shirt was so tight I almost became a superhero for the TTU (Tiny Tees Universe). I almost had to call 911 to be cut out of this shirt trying to take it off, and i'm pretty sure I almost 'went into the light' as I was losing blood circulation to my brain. This shirt is so tight the medical field could probably repurpose this garment as a body tourniquet, a cast, or maybe even a straight jacket tourture method for the mental health ward. So if you are not a stick figure caracter this shirt is going to be really tight.-Good luck friends

Ordered a 4xl fits like a large these don't run small they run extremely small Amazon needs to stop selling clothing in asian sizes on their American urls. I wear 2xl cause i like baggy loose fit clothes and this is like 3 or 4 times smaller then the size i ordered thinking it would be big.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. Very thin yet sturdy linen, extremely cool in the heat and will layer nicely in the winter. Very medieval looking, but with a stylish modern fit. Following the size chart will lead you to the correct size, don't order your US size. Additionally, they are very slim fitting. I ordered a 3xl based on chest measurements and it fits just like a US slim cut xl. I bought one in every color.

I ordered this shirt and per the instructions on the site, ordered a size larger than what I normally wear. The shirt was still too small.I really like the shirt but I will not be able to wear it and could only imagine what would happen if I washed it.Don't know what else to do except request a refund.

I wear a extra large. I got a 4X because everyone said it is very small. It fits like a medium. 4X=medium. Also the sleeves are suppose to be half length but are long. The problem is the shirt is so tight that you can hardly roll them up. I was really happy with the look of the shirt. The dude in the photo is built like me. I will just be over here in the corner doing my Chris Farley fat guy in a little coat skit.

This is my first shirt from this listing and my second linen shirt overall. I purchased the long sleeved khaki color shirt in size Small. The fit is very loose, as expected for a linen shirt; if it was a slim fit, you wouldn't be able to put it on because the fabric doesn't stretch. If you want a "slim fit", you'll need to use a waist belt or sash to pull the shirt together, which is quite appropriate for this style of shirt.My chest size is 37" and the true full chest size of this linen shirt is 40", so the extra 3" provides sufficient room to be able to put on the shirt. The size chart is inaccurate and the seller does mention to buy one size up. According to my measurement, the true chest size of the shirt is ~3" smaller than the size chart.The design and quality of the shirt is very good. I like the threaded accents and the sun wheel and I also like the small splits at the bottom of the side seam. I thought it was interesting that it also comes with straps under the sleeves to hold the sleeves when you cuff them up. The only thing that I don't like is the shoe lace string that is used—it just doesn't look ethnic. However, it is removable, so I'll be using something else for the lace.I like that they offer these shirts without the sun wheel, as well, but not in size Small, though. However, I may try out the Medium size.The long sleeve shirt pictures are a little inaccurate. The colors are heavily saturated and the lace is different. The color, lace, and also the threading around the bottom will be more like the pictures of the short sleeve shirts.

I'm not a large guy whatsoever. I do work out but I'm huge. Mediums fit my waistline but are tight around my shoulders and biceps. So I have to wear larges, which sadly are very loose around my waistline but fit my shoulders and biceps. I purchased this shirt in a large and it fit like a normal medium (good around the waistline but tight around the shoulders and biceps). I also wore a tank top underneath it because it is very thin. I can't give this shirt a bad review because I bought it just to wear it at a wedding (it was midevil theme) and a lot people asked me about it. So whatever normal shirt size you wear get this shirt one step larger. Hopefully this helps.

This is a comfortable and Light weight shirt with the unique drawstring lacing for the vneck.I have found this shirt to be ideal for casual wear or evening wear after spring on my desk chair for working from home. The design, colors, and quality of the material are top notch. The fashion rope for the V neck line is decent quality nylon-type rope. It’s such a beautiful, well-made shirt that deserves an equal quality fashion rope. The coloring and dye is consistent without any blemish or fabric snags.

If you want a real wool / linen tunic go to Grimfrost’s official website and order one. This item will fit you nothing like the one fits the model in the description photo, even if you wear a size medium normally and get a 4XL it will still just fit like a large ugly oversized teeshit. (No pun intended) and be scratchy as all hell. I even ran it through the washing machine a solid 4 times at let it hang dry to try and stretch the fabric. It will be getting turned into an oil rag. Like I said above if you’re looking for a real wool/linen tunic go to Grimfrost it comes straight from Scandinavia made from all natural recycled materials. you’ll pay 6-10 dollars more and be 6-10 times more satisfied I give you my word. Don’t waste your money on this Chinese garbage. Hail Odin.

I like the shirt and the feel but the sizing is way wrong from any standard I am aware of. I have a 48-inch chest and most shirts in my closet are L or XL when I am wearing this XXL I appear to be bursting at the seams. Or maybe it's the gamma radiation and I am just not aware of it...

Not true to size. I bought a 2XL, and equivalent to medium. Very dissatisfied. They need to do their homework and make actual comparative measurements. Or, otherwise is a scam.
