I was drawn to these knife sheaths because of the shape. This sheath fits the knife I have perfectly. It is very durable & is lined with a felt type fabric. I highly recommend.

It seems that the more you pay for a knife or cleaver the less likely it will come with edge guards. I actually purchased a knife set from a discount store once just so I could use the guards on my better knives.This particular purchase was for a 7" cleaver that of course came without a blade guard. It fits fine and the envelope design is easy enough to use. I don't expect it to last forever but between now and forever it will meet our needs.

they are perfect. cover a 7" blade.It keep the blades safe and sharp. easy to use.

These seem quite strong. The only draw back was they are a bit stiff to get the blade into the slop. I think this will become easier as they are used.

Siento que se resbala fácil el cuchillo.Aunque por un lado es entendible por que lo que quieres es solo cubrir el filo.. No sellar el cuchillo completamente... Pero siento que con cualquier movimiento relativamente fuerte y el cuchillo se puede desenvainar.
