Worked great at first and then about 2 weeks in it breaks and releases all butane as you fill it spraying it everywhere and now can't be refilled.

This was the biggest waste of money. I was trying to just get a cheap small one to hit some wires in my car. Don’t buy stay away and if it did work the plastic is so cheap there is no way this thing is safe

Great little torch

Great price for three little portable torch/soldering iron. It works good for my rc electronics. Sad long as there wind is minimal i take it to the field for repairs. Ten days later and i have to change my review to unhappy customer because when i finished soldering the other night i noticed minutes later that the ceramic insides were glowing again and the gas was off.. Very dangerous.

Mine came without a solder pencil tip because the package arrived opened but taped up. I used a 10-32 threaded solder tip from another solder iron I had. You need to start the gas with about 20% to get the element to ignite inside the housing. Once the flame shifts from outside the chamber to the internal wick it's game on. Works very well if you find the gas valve sweet spot. I use a butane cigarette lighter to start it up. The mostly clear fuel tank is the best so you know your level. Tighten things down ever so slightly more than finger tight with pliers but don't go nutz cranking on it. For $13, I may get another one.

Feels like something you would get at the dollar store very cheaply made and won't stay lit does not work as a soldering iron

Did used to be made with a little stand that you could flip over and to turn on the gas you used to push a little button up and over that would lock into place. Now it just turns around the thing and is not secure. Can easily be turned on when you don’t want it to be turned on
