Poor manual, but a good product otherwise
The manual did not include a description of the tester's switches. I googled and found a manual and instructions from the OEM that are much clearer. The tester was useful in verifying that a POE IP camera was flakey. The camera worked if I used the powerjack from the test to feed the coaxial power jack on the camera. When connect to POE, the camera seems to power up , but won't connect to Ethernet. The IP autoscan works well to determine the IP address of the connected camera. The ability to configure camera settings through menus on the tester rather than a web browser is very convenient. This'll be really handy when setting up a new camera while perched on a ladder.

The unit is smaller than it looks like in the picture.
The screen is smaller than i thought but otherwise the tester does everything you need to do at a fraction of the cost of the more expensive testers. All the features are there to allow you to test practically any camera on the market. The display is hard to see under sunny conditions outside .The wristband feature is convenient, when working on a ladder to prevent dropping the unit. If your working inside then this tester is just fine, due to the light sensitive display.

Great little CCTV tester!
It’s nice because it is quite small and has the wrist strap, so you can be on a ladder working on a camera and you don’t have to hold it with 2 hands. However because the screen is so small it might be sort of difficult to focus a lens if you don’t have great eye sight. For me it’s just fine. It works very well with Uniview and Hikvision cameras. I’ve used it on IP and analog cameras. I’ve even used the UTC controls on a Hikvision camera with a motorized lens and it totally worked. I do wish I could calibrate the touchscreen for my large fingers but I’m being pretty picky to ask for that. So far it has done everything I need it do and I’m very happy with it.

Didn't come with a charger
This item arrived dead and did not come with a 12 volt charger.

This is an awesome tool, lots of options, picks up almost every camera I had, just not SDI. Very impressed with what I got,
