Flashlight is powerful
Priced close to Chinese XM-L2(~20% brighter) flashlights, but better output that other XM-L flashlights priced below it. I had prior experience with Britelite and was looking for a similar experience. Not disappointed by the XM-L T6. 150 mtr vision no issue. Lumens not able to deduct. Definitely twice or thrice brighter than my standard torchlight. Feel free to check out pictures and guess. Quality is standard as known brands but finishing is just ok. There are scratches on lens and on torch, but adjustable. BTW, found a cool use of the lens as emergency magnifier!Well, I have bought both the 699/- Clicks and 899/- AloneFire, which seem to be the best on either side of the price range for economic Cree XML-T6 flashlights available at Amazon.in.From the attached photos, it clear that both flashlights are a lot powerful than average torches. Both look the same other than the branding. But I've noticed that the costlier Alonefire has consistantly been slightly more bright, more white, more concentrated and more sharper over distance than the Clicks. I personally think it is attributed to better quality of material in the AloneFire and maybe manufacturing process in the XML-T6 itself. I find no other visible distinction in the flashlights. So, overall, if you want a good flashlight at the cheapest rate possible, go for Clicks brand. If you don't want to compromise, blindly, go for the AloneFire, IT WILL BLIND YOU anyway.

Review update after a year of use - Still 5 stars!
17 Apr 2019: I thought it would be nice to update my 'First impressions' review after using this product for more than a year. The short and precise update is - It is still as strong and working as good as when it was new.----Old review:Just received the AmiciKart XML T6 LED flashlight. The packing was simple cardboard, but neat and intact. 3 AAA 'Duracell' battery cells were included. The flashlight was in a perfectly new condition. It feels robustly constructed and premium to hold in the hand. The textured grip prevents the flashlight from slipping. The cell holder can be taken out from the back of the flashlight by opening the end. The end also has the on-off switch. Press firmly till a click is heard to switch on and switch off. Press a little lightly to change modes (with each light press); bright - medium - dim - strobe - SOS. The front end slides in and out smoothly to adjust the focus of the light beam. The brightness of the light is quite good for the size and cost of the item. Just don't believe the lumens figures advertised for any such product. Scientific facts (Googled) on LEDs will show that the brightness will be at best around 300-400 lumens even for expensive items. But don't get bogged down by these figures. The light is more than enough for the intended general use of the product. Will follow up with a usage based review after a few days.

I purchased this for rough use like flashing while biking
I purchased this for rough use like flashing while biking, using in rains etc. I was afraid about its performance in moisture and rains. Yesterday I rode my bike for 80KM in heavy rain where any equipment will face problem. It didn't disappoint me and performed smooth. I would recommend it for such use with conditions.Cons: There is no warranty and it is not looking like 2000 lumen torch but it is satisfactory item.

This flashlight is USELESS for ACTUAL RUGGED USE
I bought this flashlight after checking out the several other glowing reviews. My purpose was to take it out camping in the himalayan foothills. The flashlight sucked big time and was a hindrance more than a help, in several difficult situations. Here are the problems which I faced -1. The circuit which switches between different modes is FAULTY. When the torch was on the brightest and default setting, it kept automatically flickering on and off, and going to strobe mode. This was a BIG PROBLEM when I was out camping in the wild, with absolutely no other source of light.2. The flashlight is NOT WATER RESISTANT. Not even remotely. After only one night of use, the lens was completely clouded by moisture. On opening the flashlight, I saw that the entire LED housing was covered in dew. Please note that there was absolutely no immersion in water, and neither were there any rains - This was the result of condensation.3. By the end of my trip (approx 10 days), the flashlight was unusable. Even now it does not come on normally, and usually begins flickering and/or the brightness level drops suddenly. This is NOT A RUGGED TORCH and is ABSOLUTELY USELESS if you intend to take it with you anywhere on your person. Don't trust the reviews for this flashlight and save yourself the trouble of buying it. Not only is it a big disappointment, but it is also dangerous to rely on a product like this in a situation where you need illumination, such as when camping, trekking etc.My advice is that you spend some extra money and get a good flashlight from a reputed brand like MAGLITE or something similar. This piece of junk looks the part, but it fails to perform EVERY SINGLE TIME.Don't make the mistake that I did, by trying to save a few bucks and endangering my safety and security in the process.

Starts into a different mode each time
The torch is sturdy and zoom works well. Has 5 modes Low, medium, high, strobe and flash. The only issue I found was the switch. Press half way to change mode and press full to switch off and on. Now every time one switches it off and on the mode changes. One has to toggle it 4 times after turning it on to get back to the same mode. Called up the Amicivision helpline couple of times. At first the refused to acknowledge there was an issue then they promised to send a replacement. How ever nothing happened. Finally as my return window was getting over, I returned the torch via amazon
