Great product
I bought this to make a side chain for a compressor and it worked fine.

Meets need for angle connector coming out of rear of transceiver
In setting of my ham station I realized that when the transceiver was tilted up for connecting cables the straight phono plug was pressing on the table with way too much force. Not wanting to bugger the connector on the rig I searched for an angle stereo phono plug. This piece is constructed 'well enough'. It's certainly not like the heavy walled units of years ago. That said, it works. Part of the body is removable making wiring connections a lot easier. There is a flat paper insulator between the connections and the barrel.

Did not work at all, didn't fit 1/4" plug correctly and no sound out
This is stupid simple function -- right angle phono adapter -- so I expected it to work. I tried it with several sources and several audio headphones and none of them work. I'm going back to my cable adapter -- onoy bought this to reduce cable clutter. I know cheap things like this probably are never tested in the factor so I suggest you not take the risk on this product.

Cheap
You get what you pay for...feels like this will break any minute.Won't be buying again. Always better to pay for a better product/don't try to save a couple of bucks. It's not worth it.

A durable replacement
Right Angle Stereo TRS Solder-On 1/4" 1/4 Inch 6.3mm 6.3 mm 90 Degree Stereo Male Jack Plug ConnectorUsed this to replace a broken plug on a piano 2 pedal foot accessory that had a straight plug. This version directed the cable down towards the foot pads. It has a crimp cable holder that seemed to hold the cables firmly, but I added some epoxy just to make sure when I put it back together. Seems much better than the original plug.Update: 5/31/2019.Yes, these need to be soldered correctly to work, use a ohm tester to make sure you did it right and did not cross the usually fine wires in audio cables. After 6 months of use, this is still working great. I like how heavy it feels and that is directs the cable 90 degrees .

A good replacement stereo connector
I bought this to replacement for a damaged plug. It works very well.

Works fine, but not the best
First off, this is NOT a crimp on connector. You must break out your soldering iron in order to connect it to your cabling. Second, while adequate, it is not a top quality design. The first picture shows that the conductors are separated by paper strips. The second picture shows a different brand, which uses a plastic separator between conductors. Knowing that, simply exercise care or add your own insulation. By the way, the body of this plug does not have threads which go all the way to the barrel, so screwing on the cover is not as solid as some other brands. It has served my purposes, however.

Ring is not well isolated from tip and sleeve. 1kohms when assembled.
