I always bought carhartt shirts and products because of how nice and thick the material was
I bought this shirt (made in Haiti) and one other in a different color. (Blue) made in Mexico. I can't believe how thin the material is in them. Not the carhartt quality I had come to know over the years. I always bought carhartt shirts and products because of how nice and thick the material was. I wanted the same in this long sleeve shirt for warmth. Not the case at all, and way too big. I put this shirt on over another long sleeve shirt with a short sleeve t shirt under that, and it still hung 6 - 8 inches below my waist. Im about 6 ft 190 & these T's are too big. I still may have lived with that , knowing they will likely shrink over time, but it is so cheaply made there is no way im keeping it. I bought a gildan at the same time for $6.40 and I can honestly say the quality of that shirt is at very least as good as these carhartt shirts. Carhartt is charging $20 to $40. I'm guessing its because they are now selling their logo now more then a quality product. I don't leave many comments here on Amazon but I've never felt so disappointed about something. Carhartt seems to be following others like Nike etc, who made a great name for themselves because they made great products, then got greedy and no longer care about the quality only the logo. Sending both shirts back, and going to a department store where i can see and feel the quality of what I'm buying. This is one problem I see with the future of Amazon. Quality will go down because companies (like Carhartt) will bank on the fact that many will not take time to return items or write reviews. Get with it Carhartt or I'm taking my business elsewhere. I added some pictures here. I hung these shirts against a sliding glass window with the sun behind to show how thin they are. As a comparison, I hung a 5 year old carhartt short sleeve shirt (blue) that has been washed and dried dozens and dozens of times. It is still thicker then the brand new shirt that I just received. I also took pics of the white $20 carhartt and the 6.40 competitor shirt. Yes, the carhartt has a pocket. But the material is terrible. Not paying $15 xtra dollars for a pocket. There is also one picture showing how huge it fits.

Save your money...buy the "old fashion models..."
I usually wear an XL...this runs large and a size Large fits great. I like the look of this shirt...however the material is a "softer" tee and I'm not certain it will hold up like my old Carhartt's. The neck started to "pill" after a half dozen times of wearing.Bottom line: The quality seems to have dropped off significantly.Updated on 4-2-18: I'm changing my rating to a one star after wearing it and washing it a half-dozen times. The entire shirt has "pilled" with the heaviest pilling around the neck. I own a number of Carhartt long sleeve tees and this one is a very big disappointment. A total waste of money...I guess I could change the oil in my car with it...

Great Everyday Work Shirt
Love these shirts. Never come untucked and the pocket is heavy duty.

One awesome shirt
I never thought I'd ever write a review for a shirt (I mean really what's the big deal) BUT this is one of the best shirts I've ever bought, it's all around a perfect fit, and just enough extra heft to it to keep me warm on cool and wet days at work. Unlike your run of the mill cheap T shirts at the mall stores I don't have to spend my day pulling the shirt down below my belt, and the sleeves fit just the way I like them to.I'm making dang sure I wash them myself so I don't have to worry about them getting messed up. Thats right I said "them" because I'm going to order a bunch more for myself and for gifts.

Much poorer quality fabric than they used to be and I can prove it!
I am very disappointed with this shirt and am returning it without even bothering to try it on.I own this exact shirt in this exact color that I have owned for several years. My older shirt is made of much heavier fabric than the new one I received today.I read a number of other negative reviews here that mention the Haiti manufacturing facility as being the source of the poorly made shirts and low quality fabric. From what I learned today about the Ash color, XL, Carhartt Men's Workwear Midweight Jersey Pocket Long-Sleeve T-Shirt, I have to agree.I purchased two of these shirts. One Ash and one Black. Both are inferior to the Ash colored XL that I currently own. I'll list the facts which confirm to me the poorer quality of the fabric in the new version. My original Ash colored shirt- Made in Honduras | 99% cotton/ 1% polyester | Weighs 424gm/15ozNew Black colored shirt- Made in Guatemala | 100% cotton | Weighs 402gm/14.2oz is slightly larger and was weighed with tags and stickers still attached.New Ash colored shirt- Made in Haiti | 99% cotton/ 1% polyester | Weighs 384gm/13.5oz is slightly larger and was weighed with tags and stickers still attached. The fabric on the Ash/Haiti version was very coarse to the touch and practically see through when held up toward a light across the room and is immediately noticeably, thin. The fabric on the Black/Guatemala version was ok, but not great and I hope it softens up in the wash. It blocked a fair amount of the light when held up but was still noticeably thinner than my older shirt. My Ash/Honduras version is, obviously softer after years of washing, but blocks most of the light when held up and feels thick and substantial.I am returning the Ash/Haiti version because it is such poor quality and had it been my first ever Carhartt shirt I would assume that the brand was over-hyped and made crappy workwear.I will keep the Black/Guatemala version and wear it around for a while before deciding whether or not to keep it or send it back. Regardless, both of these shirts were a big let down and the quality is not what they used to be.Both of the newer shirts ran larger than sized and even with all that additional fabric, as compared to my other shirt, still weighed in at 1-1.5 ounces lighter even including all the cardboard tags and stickers.FYI: After many, many years buying from Amazon, this is the first review I've ever written. That should tell you something about how negatively I view this product; Carhartt Men's Workwear Midweight Jersey Pocket Long-Sleeve T-Shirt.

Very durable 100% Satisfied
These shirts are the only ones my husband will wear to work. He has 1 in every color. Short sleeve and long. Only because he said every time he finds something he likes it gets discontinued. :-)They are 100% durable. Heavy weight cotton. The long tail will stay tucked in as well. They will go through many washes and never fade or shrink If you wash them in cold. I dry them part way then I hang them to air dry the rest of the way.

Great shirt for work!
The hubby loves this K126 style. I hate to say they fit large because the sizing to me is correct. But in the real world with cheaper clothing, these fit larger. My hubby is, 5'10-5'11 & 190 lbs and the Large Regular fits perfectly. The shrink factor is fairly minimal especially for 100% cotton, the fabric just tightens up a bit and feels thicker after you've washed & dried it. Good generous sleeve & torso length even in just the Regular length. All the colours are great too. A quality product for sure!

Sizing errors seem to emanate from the factory.
Is supposed to be LT size, but the body width is more like XLT. Sleeve length is good. Material and stitching is good. Color is good too.I ordered another one in a different color and had to return it because although labelled size LT, it was a M (medium regular).I think the problem is factory mislabelling of sizing. Carhart's needs to fix this glix.

Fits a bit larger than I thought but one of my fav shirts
Fits a bit larger than I thought it would and the sleeve have the linen hairs curling and turning into lint balls. But I think it’s more that I used the shirt for work and it rubs against things. But where some of my shirts have ripped on metal at my work this one has resisted very well. Front pocket is secure and hasn’t stretched yet with lots of used to it. And any ash/embers I’ve gotten on it hasn’t burnt it yet! So very happy

Amazon is the Best store ever. Thay have good deals and great service, welcome to Canada amazon, we need you. The North does too
I swear to you Austin Augie of team FITBIKECO. was wearing a Carhartt jacket in a FIT bicycles vlog called a "Flog".:) He is smart to wear the Carhartt jacket also, for falls, skids, scratches, etc. The Carhartt canvas is bulletproof, and could save your ass bigtime on the ramp. Carhartt is right on trend right now, again. Quality clothing built for carpentry, construction & hard God damn work. This brand commands a certain kind of respect when dirty or dusty. Its meant to get dirty, when they see Carhartt they think your a tradesman, because on the construction sight Carhartt is like the Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana of fashion. I like that. 5 stars, so nice my strict ass parents let me wear to a 5 star French restaurant. And they even said nice shirt. Cannot wait to wear it, it will look better when its broken in, shredded. I love amazon. Saved me money, therefore putting food into my mouth. They help you if they can anytime also. Thanks Amazon, your the best.:) Also, this is insane, Carhartt has a bmx team???????????Youtube it.

Nice material, fits a bit large
Good quality, thick durable feeling cotton yet still comfortable. Product fits slightly larger than normal (baggy sleeves and longer in the torso area). I am 5'9" 170lbs and I got a medium. It fits more like a large, but I put it in the drier and it shrunk down to more of a medium size which is what I wanted.

Love it
As a giant I've been wearing ill-fitting shirts for far too long. I'm very pleased with how this shirt fits me and I plan to buy more; hopefully they go on sale sometime soon. For reference I'm 6'6" 305lbs and the Large Long fits me perfectly.

Size down for perfect fit
Carhartt is know to make bigger size products, so make sure you size down respectively. I usually buy Large, but with Carhartt I get size Medium; which fits perfectly.

Comfortable
I ordered large/tall because I hate it when my shirts ride up. This was the perfect length. I'm 5'9" and it fit about mid-bum. Well made/comfortable. I'm very happy with it.

Great work shirt, unsure on sizing being sent
I ordered 2 small of these Carhartt shirts in 2 different colours. I always buy medium shirts/jackets except for Carhartt because I know that the shirts run a little big (5'8" male, 155lbs.) and that's what I've ordered in the past. Even though the shirts had small printed on them one fit like an XS and was tight even for me while the other fit perfectly, a little loose but comfortable.Great work shirt, just unsure how the "same size" shirt came in two different sizes.

I still wear it long or not.
Unless your close to 7' the large is fine. I payed for the Large and tall version MMmmk. I'm 6'2" and the sleeves hang down and it looks like a dress. Better be a tucker and tuck it in lol.

Excelente calidad

Fits large
I didn't know that Carhardt shirts fit alot bigger than other shirts. If I had known I would have ordered my son in law a medium instead of a large which is what he wears in all of his other shirts.

Good purchase / boyfriend is happy with it as a work shirt
My boyfriend loves the Hunter Green one I got for him. It’s quite roomy but great for work , he said it was warm enough but not overly warm. Good fall / winter shirt.Good quality, nice fit. May get him more colors!
