I had very fine but really annoying scratches on my van windscreen. I tried all sorts on home product that did not work. This stuff worked very well and that was just me with a cloth and elbow grease. So I think if you did it properly with a power tool it should work very well indeed

Won't remove deep scratches, but I was able quite quickly polish lime and contaminants off my car's windows.

Bought this after seeing someone on youtube using it along with a dremel to get scratches out of a watch face. I tried this on my old scratched Nixon- Ticket watch face and it cracked the entire face. Could be my technique, the mixture I used or the dremel bit, so I am not blaming the powder. After going back to the video the comments repeatedly stated not to use this on watch faces as it cause too much heat. I am glad I tried it on an item I was not concerned about first.

Didn’t work

Scratched a mirror during fitting. I could feel the scratch with a fingernail, so not expecting to get rid of it completely. Following the mix instructions to the letter, I had three goes. I used foam pads in an electric drill to do the rubbing, starting with a coarse pad and about 60 minutes of 'buffing'. It does appear important to keep the mix warm, I have no idea why but less effect with a cold mix.I then used the least coarse pad, similar mix and another 60 minutes. This is my process: Buff the mix over the damage. As the mix starts to dry, add more to keep the mix liquid, not dry. After three additions of mix, allow to dry and wipe off the residue. Repeat. I reckon I used about 10 mixes overall and to my amazement, it was possible to see the scratch reduce after each 3 buffings. The scratch cannot now be seen at all, and no sign of 'bloom' on the glass. Fantastic.I guess you could do the buffing by hand but I let me drill take the strain.

This works very well on crystal with fine scratches makes a good finisher recommended

It's a bit of time consuming job mixing then having to leave it stand, I tried it on a pair of glasses trying to remove a scratch , made matters worse. Later i used it to remove slight scratches on my car windscreen , to my surprise it worked, so it works on glass but not plastic
