Oboz Women's Firebrand II Low B-DRY Hiking Shoe

The Firebrand II is a good hiker, fit is good, except in the toe box. They are rather narrow compared to the original Sawtooth. But not so much so that they cause pain, just some discomfort. And they seem to be a little bit shorter overall for the same size as other Oboz hikers, mainly the Sawtooth, somewhere between a 1/4 to a 1/2 size shorter, if that makes sense. Might want to go a half size larger.Addendum, after wearing these for 2 full days, I find them to have a lot less pronation control than the original Sawtooth's.Take my review with a small grain of salt. I'm trying to find replacements for the many pair of original Sawtooth hikers I've worn. The Sawtooth II's are not the same as the original so I'm trying to find a good replacement.

Unless you know exactly what size you need, DO NOT ORDER from this company! I was super excited to order this shoe, but when it arrived the fit was a little too large. I was hoping to return and exchange them for a different pair BUT the company charges a RETURN FEE and NO EXCHANGES. It is hard to know exactly what size you need and I find it really disappointing that this company charges you for returning items. It is very misleading that they advertise free shipping and returns when it will cost you to return an item if you are not a Prime member.As for the shoe....it is beefy and well made. I do a ton of hiking in some thick back country and this shoe definitely would have got the job done. A very solid shoe but a bit heavy and not ventilated as much as I would like. It also ran a little big...too big to keep. I would say it is totally worth a try because it is so well made BUT ORDER FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAT WILL LET YOU FIND YOUR PERFECT SIZE!

Really happy with this shoe. Comfortable for my narrower foot and high arch. Great support and doesn’t bang against my lateral malleolus.

What an amazing company! The only thing my family has been able to do during the COVID19 crisis is go hiking everyday. These folks ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON found a way to ship new boots out for my daughter! I thought we’d be waiting several weeks easy. So grateful.

Oboz are the best brand for hiking, never have foot pain

Great shoes. Very comfortable. I wear a size 10 and they fit great. I also love the Lilac color.

Very disappointed in this shoe severe left heel pain. Will be returning them.
