Really got me out of a bind with resin printer items.
I had been using drills to adjust hole sizes in resin prints, the problem with that is when drilling plastic (or clearing) the flank angle of the drill should be different for an "out of the box£ drill bit. If that's not the case it will bit in hard and snatch, taking out chunks of brittle resin print.this thing works great for through holes in reasonably thin sections, acting live a tapered single cutting edge reamer. Gentle pressure takes the finest of scrapes, increase the pressure cuts a bit quicker, nicely controllable.Obviously the design wont work for blind holes or holes in thicker material, but as a means to smoothly opening up and adjusting holes in sheet plastic, or in my case resin prints it works admirably. Its also very well made for the price.

AVOID BUYING THIS TOOL
Like many other buyers who have bought this tool, I too am HUGELY DISAPPOINTED in the quality of the item received. The idea is very good and when made properly a good result can likely be achieved. The tool that I received is, however, NOT made properly and a good result CANNOT be achieved. The cutting edge of the tool along its entire length is BLUNT and would not cut a hole out of a paper bag. The tool is useless.....except for bursting balloons.I do not advise anyone to buy this tool from this seller........try another seller and hope that you get a good one with sharp cutting edges. My tool I am returning to Amazon for a full refund. NOT RECOMMENDED

On the ‘hole’, it really did matter!!.
I put some wire mesh over an air vent , which is at ground level of my 1930s bungalow, previously it had gaps that were just wide enough to let mice through, I used this tool to make holes in the mesh, just big enough to let the air through but nothing else...a drill would have been too cumbersome but this reamer done the job perfectly.

Not sharp.. doesn't do what it should
Another product to go back as it doesn't donwhat its supposed to.Not sharp enough to go through a Lexan body (actually cracked my car shell)... once a hole is made the 'blade element' does nothing... it should carve the edges to create a hole... this just let's you spin it with no increase in hole size... absolute junk

OK
Not as sharp as another version of this I have, but this was a lot cheaper.

Not good
Not a good tool to be honest.I ended up using a standard drill in the end as the tool left the plastic shell with unsightly burs and a terrible finish.Best to avoid.

Not sharp enough to work properly
This reamer requires quite a bit of force to use. It doesn't pierce the body (and it's just a basic lexan body) without quite a bit of force and perseverance. Once you manage to pierce the shell, it takes a lot of twisting and pushing to make the whole large enough. It isn't really cutting out the hole as much as stretching the plastic which fortunately hasn't caused it to split but has left the holes raised on the exit side. It's cheap for a reason.
