Mr. Pen- Electric Pencil Sharpener, Automatic for Kids

Best sharpener ever... love that you can plug it in and don't waste money on batteries. I've had it for a couple of years and still works great and the price is super reasonable of the quality.

There are two ways to power this sharpener-plug in by usb or batteries. I bought it for my 9 yr old daughter who was constantly having difficulty with manual sharpeners either by sharpening to much of the wood trying to get the lead out or accidentally opening it up and making a shredded mess while trying to get her pencils sharpened. This one has 3 settings too. It can make the pencil kinda on the fat dull size, medium sharp or very fine tip sharp. You can set it for any of the three and it automatically stops for you. She can use it at home or at school due to it being able to be plugged in or on battery power. It's perfect for her and me. No more messed or wasting of the pencils! I highly recommend it!

I purchased this item due to having a ton of unsharpened pencils that needed sharpening for the grandkids. We (meaning mostly me) cleaned out their old book bags and supply basket and discovered (how did that get there?) boxes and handfuls of new unsharpened pencils and worn to the nub but still good pencils. I went to sharpening and my cheapo battery operated so called lobg lasting (maybe 6 months) sharpener would not work. AT ALL! Not even a whimper. So Amazon and Mr. Pen to the rescue! I received in 2 days. Was packaged good and there was no damage. The sharpener runs on batteries (4 AA not included) or USB plug in (included). I plugged her in and went to work. About 100 pencils later she is still going strong. She does pause during sharpening and I had to press down several times to keep going. There is also a button on the side that I think chooses sharpness level. Not sure because there were more instructions. So far though it does the job so I am content.

I was looking for a little hand held plastic egg thing, that had a pencil sharpener inside that i always kept in my drawer. I couldn't find it. So jumped on Amazon to find another one. Ran into this little device, and it looked good to me. Wasn't expensive and did the job. How many pencils do you sharpen in a week? Not very many, I can tell you that!! But this thing is really neat. Makes your pencils look great! A very nice point! Three different settings too! Batteries, or plug it in. It's just a nice little thing to have.Think I'll buy some more pencils.

This penciled sharpener is amazing! So happy with it! It is super easy to use, good quality and has so many features that I never expected would be offered on an $11 sharpener! I love that you can use it with either a power cord or batteries, depending on your specific needs. It has an option to set your preferred sharpness and a button on the bottom that will help you extract a broken lead tip, if it happens to break. My favorite part is it has an auto stop! 🤯 It stops automatically when you reach your set sharpness! Best $10 I've ever spent!

I loved this little sharpener. It worked great and the convenience of being able to use it plugged in or with batteries sold me. I used it plugged in from August to February without problems. I didn’t abuse it nor let my students meddle with it as I wanted it to last. About three weeks ago I decided to use it with batteries and it worked just as good, until out of nowhere it died. I thought it ran out of batteries, so I exchanged them. Nothing. I plugged it, nothing. The thing is dead. Nothing is jammed or anything. It lasted 8 months. Now I’m on the hunt for a new sharpener but won’t be buying Mr. Pen no more.

The media could not be loaded. Love this pencil sharpener! I had a manual one and it just wasn’t cutting it so I bought this. I’ve over 150 colored pencils and pencils to sharpen. No more hand cramps! The first one I ordered got damaged, but Amazon fixed the issue. I love the safety features that the sharpener has (see video I attached)! It won’t run without the container inserted and the top hole where the pencil is inserted has a cover that’s hard for a child to unlock if snapped into place. Even an adult needs extra force. It comes with a outlet plug or you can make it portable by using batteries. It also has 3 different sharpness settings. The “dullest” setting is still sharp. My favorite is the middle sharpness. Once the pencil is sharpened the sharpener stops. Hope this helps with your decision.

This electric pencil sharpener has not met my expectations. It only rotates about one-third of the way before stopping, which makes it very inefficient and time-consuming to sharpen a pencil to a usable point. I will be returning it for a refund.
