I considered giving this product 2 stars because of the added layer of disappointment, but I think a 3 is really fair.I was skeptical because all of the reviews come from people who received the product free or for a discount. But I figured it was okay, because they were honest and up front about that. After trying the product myself I find the reviews to be blown completely out of proportion, and that's what left me disappointed. One review said the speakers get so loud he's scared to try them on the loudest setting, while I did not find them that loud at all. Another review really complemented the difference that the angle made when i did not find anything about these speakers to be better than the circular one I had prior to this for 12 bucks.It's just okay. That's it. It's on par with 10-12 dollar models. I actually like the one I got for 12 bucks better.I am writing the review with the hopes that it saves someone else some trouble. I am returning it, so it cost me money just to send back something I don't want. I will go back to ebay, look up my past orders and see if I can get another one of the speaker I lost before because it was less than half the price and it was louder and sounded just as good.

It is a great quality speaker. Unfortunately my 2011 Macbook Pro has an issue where it adds delay to bluetooth sound, which is very annoying if you are watching a video, but not if you are listening to music. Something to keep in mind with this product is that it is just one speaker. You aren't going to get stereo sound from this product. My only real issue with these speakers is that the voice that tells you what state the speakers are in is hecka loud and can get annoying. The voice feedback is a great quality to these speakers, as it tells you what state the speakers are in, but I would have preferred to have a separate volume control for the voice, so I could make it much more quite and not have to smother it with a pillow whenever I turn it on or off.

Well, if you're happy listening to a 3" cube for your music, I'd suggest you have "muffin ears". But, if you want a little noise without having to suffer with headphones, earbuds, or the terrible speaker on your phone, this could be just the ticket. I purchased one of these and it was VERY easy to set up and listen to. The build quality seems excellent, and the British accent of the voice prompts is a nice bonus :-)

Just realize this speaker is not loud at all. I'm not 100% sure that's the way i got it but I'm pretty sure. We've even tried using the cables it came with and nothing. I'm really surprised ppl are saying this speaker is really loud.

What a piece of crap. The Bluetooth connection works for a few minutes then cuts out. And the annoying voice telling me: power on , Bluetooth connected, power off. Save your dollars for something better. I wish I had.

Good little boom box great base an all around good sound.

Great little speaker. Well worth the money. Works great with my tablet, cellphone and iMac.

good little speaker, wish I could figure out how to adjust volume on the speaker without changing track that is playing from my device.
