Ecoxotic Wall Mount Assembly for 18 Inch Panorama Pro Fixture

Unit is solid and easy to mount. Adjustable on the horizontal plane to allow me to scoot the fixture forward or backward over the aquarium. NOT adjustable on the vertical plane, so unless you want to remove it and try again, get it right the first time. The feature which allows you to raise it up and lock for tank maintenance is nice. I would have given this mount 5 stars, but for one deficit that really bothers me. There is no channel for your module cables. They will have to run down one side of the wall mount or hang in front of it, which for me compromises a good deal of the sleek look. Sticky back cable guides were included which will help, but not much. I don't understand why the hollow vertical side rails of this mount were not left capless. It would have allowed all the cables to be routed through them, making them totally invisible. My build is based on a rimless tank with no canopy, so I'm striving for the cleanest, sleekest look possible. Hanging and visible cables were not part of the plan. Despite this, I would buy again, because I'm totally sold on Ecoxotic's products. 5 stars for the awesomeness, -1 for the lack of cable management.
