You can definitely tell the quality of these plugs isn't as good as the bigger manufacturers. The plugs come in a bag rather than individual boxes. I repaired the end on one of my extension cords and the plug did work out well. If you're looking to use them in a permanent capacity, I'd recommend one of the name-brands instead.

I doubt they're UL listed, and the plastic doesn't seem to be of the greatest quality. Fitting them back together can be tricky--the screws are placed at uneven intervals to ensure proper alignment, but the overall quality of the manufacture and design make the screws finicky to thread.All that being said, though, their design doesn't seem to be intrinsically dangerous.If you're willing to spend extra time installing these for a cheaper price, it seems like an okay way to go. (I got five of them in one order for about $11.) I have a reasonable amount of mechanical ability, and I did find myself thinking it was taking longer to install these than it would to install a more expensive UL-listed product. If you don't feel like tinkering, you'd probably be happier with a better-made if more expensive product. You get what you pay for--for my purposes, these were adequate.

It is a nice product. I used it for the multi connection for my event as a up-light and with music. Cool. Please do this for secure connection. Make sure your wires are under the metal clip not under the screw. Mark a line outside with small marker for reconnection. Makes it easier when you put it back. All three screws do not line up, if you have made a mark before you take it a part. It makes life lot easier.Be careful. It's a electrical connection. Always check connection with the meter before plug-in any thing. Good luck, Don't short circuit your self.

These work fine and are one of the cheaper options for such connectors. I did deduct one star as these don't have the standard color coded green/silver/gold screws so make sure you pay good attention to where you're connecting the wires.

They are not the best, but you get what you pay for.
