10 Madagascar Vanilla Beans Whole Gourmet Extract Grade B Pods for Baking, Extract, Cooking, Brewing 5-6 Inches

My household loves vanilla sugar and/ or vanilla sweetener. But it's ridiculously expensive to buy -- especially in the quantities we use for cooking/baking/coffee/tea, etc. -- so I make it myself by putting 10 vanilla beans, cut into 1/2-inch chunks, into a jar with a pound of organic sugar, monkfruit sweetener, stevia, whatever. Close the jar and shake it every so often to redistribute the pieces. And Voila! Great, intense vanilla taste added to whatever you want and at a reasonable price point. The Grade B pods here seemed fine to me; they were skinny, but soft and pliable and very fragrant. Will likely be buying these again when I need to make more vanilla sugar.

I have bought vanilla beans before, but it's been a while. I was looking to not break my bank and make a perpetual vanilla extract. I bought one order just to see how they were. They were soft and just touching them the scent of vanilla was all over my fingers. Cut beautifully, nice and B grade moist (so not A grade, but I was pleased with them). They all looked good and ready to use so I bought another and added it in. Very pleased - It'll be a year before my extract is ready, but I would buy them again.5 stars - seller shipped it quick, the beans well packaged and were lovely for a grade B, the scent of vanilla was very nice. I'm happy.

We have purchased from this vendor multiple times.The quality of the product is exceptional. We use them for making vanilla powder for baking instead of leaching the vanilla flavor out with a clear alcohol. There is NOT WASTE as the entire bean is used.We highly recommend this supplier for vanilla beans of all grades.

I've ordered from this company before and have been very happy with my vanilla beans. This order was not like the ones I've ordered in the past. The smell was wonderful, but the beans were super skinny. My package weighed .75 ounces. I was expecting a little more from the order. The beans are very good quality, they're just really small. I would take a chance on ordering again because of my purchases in the past. I would not order again based on this order.

I ordered beans from 2 places and these were the cheaper of the two. In the picture these beans are at the top - moist and nice dark seeds inside (actually darker than the other seller). Several of these beans were split but they are grade B and I was cutting them regardless. They had a great aroma and I really didn’t see any difference with the other beans I purchased. Will know in a year how they do at making extract. In the mean time I just ordered 20 more beans from this seller

I bought one bundle of these and made vanilla extract. It colored the vodka beautifully within days! I bought another bundle and made a second batch. This batch is still looking pretty pale, after a month. So I think the beans are inconsistent, but this is not surprising given that they are a product of nature! Both batches had a nice rich oily inner appearance when I slit the beans open. And I know that regardless of the color, the product won't really be ready for around six months. I would buy again.

These are moist thick beans that make the best homemade bourbon vanilla extract.
