Will take a while to put together - but happy with the result
Lots of screws. Not hard to assemble, just takes a while because there are SO MANY screws. Noting if it was shipped assembled it would of course not be free shipping (more bulk) , and product would cost more (more labor). Yes it will take you an hour with a Phillips to put together, so deal with it. The pieces all fit together well if you follow the instructions. After you get the barrel put together the legs are ridiculously easy to assemble in contrast, at that point you'll be like "yay"! I'm happy with it and would buy again. Lots of different brands/colors appear to be the same design, so shop around for best price (this was the best price I found after a lot of looking). I also like this once because it's "all black" so it will soak up the most sun. Happy with price and quality of this one. Yes, some assembly required!

Functional and inexpensive
First the big drawback: its plastic. Yes that's lightweight and durable enough, but going 'green' with a plastic composter is a bit on the nose. Black is good as heat speeds up composting. Center divider is flimsy and fights you on install. Use it though. One side fills first, then when about half full start filling the other side. You don't want fresh kitchen scraps in your compost when you go to get your finished compost, so plan on letting the bacteria work a month or two without adding more.

Ease of assembly-sufficient size-sturdy-appears easy to tumble even without a handle
My hubby and I put this together without any arguments!!!!! This is gonna be a great composter!!!!! The plastic feels sufficiently sturdy, will see how it holds up to the Central Valley California sun...screwdriver provided; however, I used pliers for my hubby to tighten screws, a few extra parts which is nice...he h8s instructions and these were understandable by me - wifey - our dog even napped near us while assembly commenced...We looked at almost every single composter on Amazon and this was our choice...PLEASANTLY PLEASED AND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!!!!

Easy to use
Easy to assemble and to use. Makes compost in a little over a month in hot weather. Just be sure to mix in a good amount of browns, turn often while you let it sit for a few weeks and then harvest by placing a catchment beneath the composter and opening the door and turning it over the catchment container. I like that it has two separate areas for compost, but I own two of these composters for my in town garden and simply fill both areas in one bin while the other is finishing. They provide a wheelbarrow of dark, rich compost from one full tumbler. I keep a bin of dried leaves or shredded paper next to it and always give it some of those when adding kitchen waste. Couldn't be happier! It is very sturdy. They keep rodents and other critters out too!

Composter
First attempt to compost material for gardening. A lot for screws for assembly.

Poor instructions All panels not molded completely
Worst instructions I've ever seen. However, it is easy to figure out. Easy, but time consuming to put together unless a panel isn't molded at the bending point, as one of ours was. Working with black on black can be a bit of a problem if you drop a nut into the barrel. It was time consuming to put together there are plenty of nuts and screws and the tool work well. When attaching to the base a wrench is needed as the locking nuts are VERY tight fitting. I would buy again, if it does it's job.

Decent compost tumbler
Overall I like the product. Putting it together was not ideal but not that bad either. The instructions could have been a bit better, like letting you know you need to add the middle divider before putting more than 4 side pieces on. Best to use a electric screwdriver given that there are 50+ screws to insert. The unit rotates easily and should be easy to fill. Emptying the unit through the small doors is not that ideal but better than removing a whole panel. The thing that makes these types of composters ideal for small yards is that it is easy to rotate and mix your compost which is very important to getting a compost pile working along with proper amount of moisture and mix of materials to be composted.

Very Sturdy, great price
Bought this composter just over a week ago. STURDY: It's surprisingly very sturdy both empty and with the one side that we have full already. SETUP: It was easy to set up with my husband; each of us took one side, but it would have been easy enough for one person. (based on other reviews I was ready to break out a Zima - but No need (darn it?). The instructions provided were plenty; it was very intuitive (repetitive) after we got the first two pieces together. FEATURES: Appreciate the dual chamber; looking forward to using the compost. Zero issues so far. Update 8/2022 one year after initial purchase: we’ve had several batches of successful compost. The garden is thriving this year. The composter is still very sturdy and holding up well.
