It’s not broken, they’re in “storage” mode.
If you got these and think some are broken, they’re not. That’s how they come from the factory to help you get them on cordage. Just squeeze them and they’ll click out of storage mode.

Awesome Cord Locks
These are really nice quality USA made cord locks. I love the green color - these are very hard to find like that. Will probably get more in the future.
