Actually purchase for my older dog who has trouble getting into my car. He’s a big lad and heavy with it - he had a leg op and so I needed something to help him get into my vehicle.He won’t use a slope and other dog steps are way to small and unsturdy for his furry lordship so I needed something stable and able to take a heavy weight while being long enough and wide enough for him to gain purchase: this works so well.It’s not ideal to carry around but it doesn’t take up *that* much room and he now feels confident on it - the last step moves and he lost confidence. Basically if it can put up with him being in it, scrabbling and being out in the rain and still not budging an inch - feel confident it will work for you. ;)Good, spacious and one heck of a sturdy build. Love this. My husband and I have both been using it regularly since purchase. The leg sections come off so you could adjust the height if you wanted to; this also means you can make it slightly more compact for storage. It seems sturdy enough for a proper workout. It seems to be of the same quality as the steps I've used in aerobics classes.

Have seen reviews complaining about the height-adjusting blocks falling out, but that isn't consistent with my experience of it. Also other complaints about the size, referring to it as 'child-sized' or not suitable for serious workouts. Well, it's not a piece of fancy gym equipment, but it's solid enough and perfectly adequate for home use. As for the size, other than it perhaps not being high enough, there are certainly no issues with the surface area and, well....the dimensions are in the product description for a reason. And if you want a higher one, just buy a higher one.

Abut small and would have liked it to go a bit higher

The bottom step of my staircase is twelve inches deep and difficult to climb up as I suffer with arthritis. It has made a massive difference to me climbing up the stairs. Something I should have done years ago Very sturdy, safe, and well made

Easy to higher steps , sturdy enough to step on but would have preferred a little wider
