Guerlain Shalimar Souffle De Parfum EDP Spray for Women, 3 Ounce

I love the old fragrances and always have; Mitsouko, Shalimar, Chanel 19 and 5. I thought I’d hate this but gave it a chance. At first I thought, “oh no that fruity smell that makes me gag when I walk into Sephora”, but it changed into wonderful. A new fresh mixed with all kinds of other. Definitely not Shalimar…I don’t get one hint of it which is kind of sad, but I love it nonetheless. If you don’t enjoy the initial modern smell, just be patient and you will love the florals and white musk eventually fading into a different kind of gourmand.

A beautiful citrus gourmand with notes of lemon bergamot, mandarin, orange blossom, Jasmine Sambac, Indian vanilla, Tahitian vanilla, and white musk!! Does not smell like the OG, it’s a modern take on the OG. Elegant soft and fluffy, a creamy floral.

So my favorite color is blue. I had to have this just for the bottle. My mom loves the original version of the perfume. I was online looking to buy it for her birthday and came across this. So, I went ahead and bought her the original and decided to buy myself this one for the bottle. I got 2. one to open and the other as a collectable. It got here and mom wanted to also try it. She loved it more than the original as well. So, we decided to buy 2 more bottles for backups. Yes, we love it that much.

I have been wearing Shalimar for years! How did I not know about this one! It’s absolutely beautiful. Not anything like Shalimar! Absolutely am in love with this one . Thank you Guerlain and Amazon for carrying it!

Nice gourmand scent. It smells nothing at all like Shalimar so I’m not sure why they named it as they did. But to me, as far as Guerlain goes, it smells like a dessert version of L’Instant, if that makes sense. Very similar to English Laundry No.7, so not a traditional Guerlain, but still nice.

I am a huge fan of Shalimar, and was delighted to find this wonderful interpretation that is reminiscent of Shalimar but more floral and lighter. Unfortunately, I have heard that Guerlain is no longer selling this product - so if you are like me, you will want to get your hands on a few bottles and stock up!
