Very nice opener, of high quality. There is no comparison to the Chinese junk that is out there and this machine. it was easy to install with good directions. it operates smoothly and quietly. I can see this lasting a long time. It is worth the price...

The eagle motor and installation is just as advertised however, the only downside is dealing with the chain. The chain comes in two 10 foot lengths and of course no ones gate is exactly 10 feet long. So the chain has to be severed or cut to fit your specific gate. They do not provide you with a chain break tool so you have to buy a chain break tool or break it yourself which is not that simple. Also they don't have L brackets for the chain mount. L brackets work out better than the so called no weld brackets that are supplied If you have a solid blackout panel on your gate like I have. Other than those issues I would buy this product again.

I bought this unit as it is compact and powerful based on the specs. Problem is that when it was delivered there was a big hole in the bottom of the box where the brake release pedal protrudes and it was bent back pretty far and the cover was busted up. So I packed it back up and ups picked it up, well kinda and threw on the back of the truck. I recieved a replacement with the same problem only not as bad cept the hardware bag was blown apart with loose hardware all over the box along with a hole in the box so I don’t know what hardware I may be missing. Also there is no installation paperwork enclosed so I called the manufacturer and got a voice recording and haven’t heard back from anybody as of yet. Haven’t decided how to proceed just yet other than call amazon again and send it back. Not a happy camper as of yet. What a pain in the neck this has become, the factory needs to package this unit so as it can flop around in the box.

I have to reconnect the clicker all the time and the motor over heat on the sunny day the motor doesn’t respond we have to open the gate manually

I used my old #40 chain. They use #41. Same pitch- works fine.
