CAREFREE701508 Awning Zip Blocker

I am 62 year old female and installed this by myself! Only tool used was a ladder. Easy to install to awning rail (remove end cap) Bottom half zipped on and off perfectly with no problems. It does NOT come with stakes to secure to ground, as stated in description. This is a MUST HAVE for any camper! Top have stays attached and rolls up perfectly in awning. Helps to cool your outside area by partially blocking sun and helps take glare off outside TV for better viewing. Highly recommend this product!

Just what summers in FL ordered! I had been wanting one of these for a few years and this one did not disappoint. The reviews were spot on; it is excellent quality, so easy to install AND take down with the awesome zipper, and the added shade it provides is so nice for us living here in FL. It actually adds another room to your outdoors area providing both shade and a little privacy. Someone suggested we get "the ones with the zipper" and I am so happy we did! When the winds whip up and storms come in, we just unzip it and away it goes in our storage bag. I can actually take it down myself it's that easy. If you have been hesitant on purchasing this, don't be! The measurement is perfect and it's one of the best purchases we have made for our RV yet! Thank you :)

I purchased this sun screen based on some good reviews. I made sure my awning had an attacment groove to accommodate the screen as well as the awning and light strip. This screen matched my awning and when it was installed it fit perfictly. It is very well built with a good heavy zipper that attaches the lower panel very easily. With the lower panel off the top panel rolls in the awning perfictly. Some reviewers who had to use an adapter to have the required groove said they could not roll the top panel in the awning, that would be an unacceptable option to have to remove the top panel each time.Exceeded my expectations for quality, fit and ease of install. Will be easy to use and store in accompaning storarg bag.

Product is so worth the money. Easy to install but it DOES NOT come with stakes or tie downs like in description. Makes a huge difference having more shade.

This is a great addition to your awing, it gives you extra shade in those bright and sunny campgrounds. Please note there are some cons with this product; it does take a bit of work to install, it doesn't come with instructions (but the install is pretty cut and dry), it doesn't come with a carrying bag for the larger zip on piece. All in all a very good product.

Our screen arrived a day early on an 87 degree Saturday. Installation took two ladders and two people. Only took a few minutes to install and the difference was immediate. I would guess it was at least a 12 to 14 degree difference. I would definitely recommend this screen to all rv owners.

Bought this screen for our two week vacation. It fits our motor home awning perfectly and offers a shady and private area for us to relax. I do wish this screen came with another attachable piece of nylon for evening use when we want privacy. I will be making something to fit onto it when I get home. I do wish I had bought at least one side piece but again, I’d like it more for privacy in the evening so a solid option would be nice.I’m giving this product five stars because it is exceptionally well made, good quality material and mechanics, very nicely engineered (easy to use) and does the job it has advertised. My husband was so impressed that he can leave part of it inside the awning and then just zip the screen on when needed.

Our seasonal campsite has the door side facing east. We have added a deck on the east side. There is full sunlight from early morning until about 2 pm. We found it very hot, some days too hot, to sit there even as early as 8 a.m.We found this solar blocker and decided to get it in order to have shade. It arrived very quickly. As advertised, it installed in the slot of the RV awning in seconds. There was an immediate drop in temperature from sitting in the direct sunlight to being behind solar shade.In addition to providing shade, it provides privacy from people looking in while we can still look out and enjoy the view.The shade is well constructed and durable. It is easy to zip on and zip off. It folds neatly into its case.When our camping friends saw it and sat behind it, they were so impressed that they bought one and now have it in their awning.

Sun screen keeps sitting area much cooler and keeps sun off a lot of trailer side assisting function of AC.Can sit under awning during heavy rain as most water runs down sun shade vs through.Highly recommendWe use on an electric awning. Strap down with rubber stretch straps and leave out. Only take down when very heavy storm warnings in area. Unzips and installs easily.

It was a little difficult to install as it was hard to pull through the slot in the existing awning. Once that was done we got it all set up and it is great. You can still see through it from both sides but does block some of the sun on very hot days.

Works well, a bit long and doesn't come with hardware to secure the screen to the ground.Definitely a 2-3 person job to install, also should have a minimum 6' step ladder.
