Terramar Adult Thermasilk Glove Liner

Nice liners, came through on Kilimanjaro!
As the title implies, I bought these for a recent trek up Kilimanjaro. I wore these under medium North Face gloves and then higher up under a pair of Outdoor Research heavy gloves, the liners held up well and added a nice layer of warmth close to my hands. They did not wrinkle up inside the out gloves, and seemed to keep sweat away from my hands. They seemed well made with clean stitching, proper finger length (I have "normal" medium to large guy hands).I don't normally wear liners when trekking or mountaineering, but these take up almost no room, are very lightweight, feel great, and made wearing more serious gloves more comfortable. I will be taking them with me as standard gear from now on.Highly recommended.

Great deal. Great product. Beware Velcro.
Great breathable glove liner. I wear these underneath my motorcycle gloves on cold days. They also make a decent pair of lightweight gloves on their own if you have to stand around in the cold. The only issue I have is that they easily snag on velcro, which is used on the fasteners of my leather gloves and my jacket cuffs. This means I have to be extra careful when gearing up, otherwise they fall apart quickly. I suspect this is an inherent issue with silk, not a design weakness in these gloves, but it's worth mentioning because it is a PITA. However, I have a system I use to minimize the chance of snagging the material. It's worth the extra fuss to me for the comfort and manual dexterity offered by a thin silk lining. Also, you can't beat the price. I regularly see polyester glove liners for twice as much.

Very warm.
I put these on under my regular leather motorcycle gloves and they worked very well keeping my hands warm at highway speed in temps ranging from mid 20's to mid 30's F.I bought ski gloves to try for cold weather riding but while warm, the bulk interferes with operating the controls. These liners are an excellent compromise. The only con is that they are easy to snag on things so use them in conjunction with an outer glove.

Perfect weight glove liner but fabric catches on things
I wanted to love these. They were super lightweight and slid right under my heavy winter gloves. They didn’t add any bulk or limit movement. They were a perfect extra layer when it was below 10 degrees and I needed to walk the dog in gloves. The fabric seems to catch on everything, including my sometimes dry hands. It had little pulls and pills after just a few weeks. Granted, nobody sees these, but they didn’t feel very durable.

I can use my iPhone without removing these liners!
These are fantastic! They are really thin, so they seem like they wouldn't do much for someone with chronically cold fingers (Reynauds Syndrome), but here is how I use them:1) They are so small that I carry them in my purse or pocket during times of the year when most people probably wouldn't need gloves. It's a great backup. If it's actually cold outside and I only have these with me, I will keep my hands in my pockets most of the time, but these add a really nice extra layer to the warm pockets, and protect me when I take my hands out to use my bus pass, or phone.3) I wear them as liners inside my Volt heated mittens when I ski or ride my moped in the winter. Without these liners, the heated mittens can get a little clammy, but this added layer makes the perfect combination. With both layers, I can make it through my 20 minute commute on my scooter in Boston in 20 degree weather without any circulation problems.4) This one was a nice surprise: I can use my iPhone with these gloves on. It's not perfect ( I bought a size larger, because snug gloves exacerbate my Reynauds, so my precision isn't as high) but they are thin enough that I don't need to remove them on really cold days to do basic phone stuff.

Will NOT last!
I purchased these for this ski season on January 21, and have worn them 3 times. First impressions were good, as they felt nice and even worked with a touch screen easily enough. After the first use, I was noticing pilling and stray threads. Not the end of the world, as long as they do their job. It's not about looks at all with an underlayer. However, after 3 uses there are massive amounts of threads pulling out, and even a hole in the finger already. I don't think these will even last a season. Do yourself a favor and pay more for Salomon agile gloves, they lasted me 3-4 ski seasons before I blew out a seam.

Perfect for liners inside of other gloves!
I ride my motorcycle year round, and my electric heated gloves have a liner that likes to stick to skin and eventually pull inside-out. (Thanks for nothing, Tourmaster.) I picked these up to solve that problem and they work PERFECTLY. Gloves slide on and off with zero friction.Just don't touch anything velcro wearing them, they WILL catch and fray instantly. I don't care about that myself since they do go inside another pair of gloves, but if you're trying to keep them looking nice, avoid velcro at all costs.

Motorcycle Glove Liners
I bought these silk liners to wear in my motorcycle gloves. When motorcycle gloves are worn during warm and hot summers, they are difficult to put on or take off when your hands become sweaty. Glove liners have always made motorcycle gloves easier to wear. They also wick sweat and I have noticed that my motorcycle gloves never smell when I wear glove liners under them. My preference is for synthetic liners as they are much more durable but it can be a little more difficult to find ones that are thin and not bulky. Silk liners are thin but they are much more delicate and prone to pulls or runs in the fabric material. Make sure to keep these silk liners well away from any Velcro as it will catch and become damaged. I have already caught these silk liners in the Velcro of my motorcycle gloves even though I tried my best to be careful. I don't think they will last more than two seasons of motorcycling but they work well as liners. As these liners are thin, they do nothing to keep your hands warm when it gets cold. They are not really meant for that purpose anyway.I wear a size 9 glove and the large size of these fit perfectly. The quality appears to be good as well.

Great, warm gloves liners with a better fit and finish than many others.
Great gloves, great quality fit and finish. The only problem is that the silk is extremely prone to catching on Velcro and developing snags and runs, (which seems to be a problem with all the silk glove liners I have owned in the past 30 years). the wrist cuffs are nice and long, which makes it easy to pull the gloves on. The only problem is that I seem to have lost the Right one and now my size is temporarily out of stock on Amazon.ca

disappointed in quality control inspection
I hand washed as directed by hand in wool wash soap to find at the cuff on one of the cloves quite frayed
