Moist and tasteless
The grounds we're moist and sticky, I'm sure ground sumac was meant to be dry. No taste. Waste of time.

why on earth would you put salt to sumac, sought by many to replace it

Lovely herb goes an anything.
This is a lovely herb and goes on just about anything.My son in the USA used it on omelettes/salads/ect and he is right it has a lovely lemony zest taste and is very good for you.
