Ordered Ayurvedic Amla for IBS & it's helped more than anything else!
Amla is one of the more popular Ayurvedic medicines. It's been successfully used in Ayurvedic medicine for at least 1,000 years.I can attest to the fact that Amla has helped me with irritable bowel syndrome, which I've suffered from for years. Amla, is also known as Indian gooseberry, & has so many beneficial uses. The antioxidants and vitamins found in amla berries offer several health benefits. Amla has high concentrations of vitamin C, the Amla berries also include several flavonols, which have been linked to improved memory. It's also been used to control blood sugar in those with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Amla also has soluable fiber which is good for blood sugar control as well as for better control of (IBS) irritable bowel syndrome.I can attest to its benefits for irritable bowel because since I've been taking it I haven't had any issues with irritable bowel!Amla is also rich in vitamin A, which is important to improving eye health. I have chronic corneal erosion and, although I haven't noticed any difference yet, I'm all in for Ayurvedic medicine for most ailments. I've used Ayurvedic medicines for years very successfully & I'm not generally someone who responds well to western medicines, or prescription medicines. Amla is a great addition if you're prone to a family history of age-related macular degeneration. Amla's vitamin C content aids in eye health by fighting bacteria, which helps prevent eye infections, including pink eye!I really feel you can't go wrong using Ayurvedic medicines. Our family also uses Andrographis, which is an absolute must have during cold and flu season. I'm Immunocompromised and am taking it every day to ensure I don't get Covid. I get mine from Amazon for a great price. I prefer the brand we now take over any other. Helps some people with chronic fatigue
My practitioner recommended this for some chronic fatigue and unfortunately, I can't tell a difference yet, but she uses it along with a couple of other ayurvedic herbs, with great success in most of her clients. I'm rating this based on the quality of the Amla compared to some other Amla I have used. It seems to be good quality and I much prefer it in the capsules like this over the powdered variety that I also tried. I have tried raising the dose to two capsules/day under her supervision but she thinks that time will help more than raising the amount (if I had patience I probably wouldn't need the Amla, though!)If you research this amazing herb (that I had never heard of before her recommendation) it is actually used for many things in traditional medicine and is not only a super food but used to heal quite a number of conditions in addition to general fatigue.

Smells and tastes slightly fruity - easy to swallow
Love that this is clearly marked vegan - as that is important to me. The bottle smells slightly fruity and the taste is also just slightly fruity as well. It was very easy to swallow.The only real side effect is it seems to be a natural blood thinner - so I suppose not good if you are already on blood thinners or are getting surgery or something. Known to be pretty good for a bunch of stuff - even WebMD states it is good for cholesterol and heartburn. The other things such as inflammation, skin, and lowering your blood sugar WebMD says it might be good for but has not been proven in the medical world - so it may also be good for all of that too.If you thought my review was helpful - why not click the "Helpful" button.
