Great Value Grinder for Daily Coffee Lovers!
I’ve been using the SHARDOR Electric Burr Coffee Grinder 2.0 for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid addition to my morning routine. The 16 grind settings make it easy to switch between my French press and drip coffee maker, and the grounds come out consistently each time. It’s straightforward to use, and cleaning is a breeze with the removable parts and included brush. One thing to note is that it can be a bit noisy, and there’s some static cling with the grounds, but that’s pretty common with grinders in this price range. Overall, for the price, it delivers great performance and reliability. If you’re looking for an affordable burr grinder that gets the job done, this is a great pick.

Excellent Unit
I really like this grinder. It is compact, well made and works great. While not quiet, it is a lot quieter than my last unit. The last one was more akin to fingernails on a chalkboard in addition to being very loud. This unit is much more tolerable. I also like that this unit has separate controls for each function. My last unit had "one button" control which caused issues with unintentioned changing of settings. Some complain about the mess, but mine makes less mess than my last one. However, I don't do large batches and only grind on demand because fresh is better. Some complain about static causing coffee to cling to sides, etc. I think that is unfair as all grinders have that issue. It's physics, not a issue with the unit. Besides, a couple of taps fixes that.

Overall Pretty Good
I have had this coffee grinder for over a month and like it fairly well. I like to grind my coffee very fine. Not because I use it for an espresso, but because I try to extract as much flavor as I can from the coffee. It does grind the coffee beans very fine, to a nice powder. And changing the grind setting allows you to get it pretty course or somewhere in between. That's the main feature of a coffee grinder, afterall. As for the cup selection, which allows you to select how much coffee to grind, it is very inconsistent. I set it on 2 cups and it grinded about 14g of coffee which is good for an 8oz. cup of stronger coffee. Turning it up to 3 made no difference. Nor did turning it up to 4. Somewhere between 4 and 5 it finally jumped to around 20g which is how much I use for a 16oz cup. But even there, it will sometimes grind 18g or as much as 24g. So, the cup selection is not consistent. I can live with it being wrong, but being inconsistent is a bummer as it will not produce a consistent brew.Lastly, as some others have mentioned, there is a fair amount of static electricity in the grind cup especially with the fine grind selection. Coffee sticks inside of the cup and you have to tap it to get the coffee to drop to the bottom of the cup. I even tap on the back of the unit to get the coffee to fall into the grind cup. While this is not a big deal, it does make the unit pretty messy. Every couple of days I vacuum around the grinder and where the grinder cup sits. I would have paid extra for a glass grind cup. These are minor concerns so, overall, I do still like it especially given the price. It would be perfect if not for the above shortfalls.

Very Pleased
Static dust.... RDT Ross Droplet Technique solves all issues. See on youtubeProduct arrived some minor cosmetic scuffing to the top panel, likely during assembly. Nothing major for a return. Easy clean-up after use. This grinder was purchased to replace a blade style grinder. Improved cup of coffee with less ground residue with this grinder. Primary using the grinder for drip coffee (Ninja CFP301),traditional french roast and Italian moka pot. Grinder well suited for average home brewing. Design doesn't occupy large counter space. *** Ross Droplet Technique*** cuts down on staticNothing like a good cup of coffee in the mornings, its the simple things.....

A lot of cleanup and counter dust
The grind is okay but not great. With the grinder set to the coarsest setting it’s fine for French press. The grinds do have a lot of fine powder that accumulates on the lid and at the front of the bin. There’s also a lot of fine grinds that get shot out of the bin and end up on the counter. The hopper size is decent and it comes apart for cleaning easily. I’ve had this model for about a year and a half and it’s held up fine.A friend of mine has a capresso and it’s way better and I wish I had spent the extra money to get it instead.

Huge improvement over the old model
Don't be confused from the reviews on this item because Amazon has posted reviews for both the older model and this newer model here. I had the older model and just recently received the newer model. The newer model listed is so much better than the old model. Smaller, faster grind, quieter, and easier to set how much you want the grinder to grind (cup settings). How course you want the grind of coffee to be as much easier to set with a side knob instead of turning the hopper like on the old model which was a little difficult to do. The only minor flaw is the coffee grounds are still affected by static and in a dry climate the grounds stick to the side of the receiving cup. But I am extremely happy with this new model.

This is so worth it
This coffee grinder is AMAZING!! I love the option to adjust how fine the beans grind. Since we use a French press, it's great to be able to make our coffee with having it being able to ground so finely.
