This bowl is great! We have a very naughty Bengal cat, who for some reason feels the need to knock over his water bowl if he doesn't get fresh water 10 times a day. I bought a raised non-skid bowl and he figured out a way to spill that. I even resorted to putting his bowls in a shallow plastic tub so that if the water spilled, at least it would spill in the tub and not the wood floor. Of course, in a matter of a few days, he figured that he could slide the tub and push it down the stairs. I tried a lot of different things and nothing worked and I was at the end of my rope. One day, during a moment of clarity, I realized that he wouldn't be able to knock over a bowl if it was flexible. A quick Amazon search introduced me to the life changing Guyot squishy bowls. This bowl has solved my problem with flying colors. I decided to get the 32oz bowl so that it would hold a good amount of water, which would also add more weight. The cat has tried and tried, but failed time and time again to knock over the bowl. The bowl just flexes and the water stays inside. The shape of the bowl also contributes to this. It's a fantastic design...well done Guyot Designs! I only wish I would have found this sooner...could have saved a lot of headaches.

Love how light and flexible these are. They don't seem flimsy at all. I needed something that was light and very packable for when we travel. This is exactly what I needed.My dog found it a little small to eat his dry dog food at first (he's lab sized), but got used to it after a few minutes. Thinking of getting the next size up for his travel water bowl.

I use this not for a dog (I don't have one) but for myself, for traveling. I keep it in the bathroom to corral my toiletries, or next to the bed to keep my eye drops, earrings, and lip balm from rolling off the nightstand. The rubbery texture makes it easy to locate in the dark when you're groping for your eye drops. I've used it in-between the car seats to hold chargers, snacks, and cables-- the grippy texture keeps it from sliding around. I've used it for my grandkids to corral their snacks and crumbs while they're eating in their car seats. I've used it to rinse the grandkids' hair in the bathtub, and they use it as a toy boat. I've used it in my lap at a movie theater to hold popcorn shared with a friend. I've even heated up soup in the microwave in this, but it held the smell for so long that I decided not to do that any more. Cleans easily with soap and water. I've never run it through the dishwasher, but supposedly you can.I love the bright color and the flat-bottom shape is surprisingly useful for so many things. It squishes into any available space in my bag. I never travel without it!

I loved my first bowl so much I bought a second one. Still awesome. Instead of giving it to my dog, I like to use it for backpacking. Easy to clean, light, easy to pack, and hard to spill.

Ok, why 5 stars for a squishy pet bowl? (Which can be nosed to collapse, spilling water, or bitten through trying to pick up.) Well, I'm not using it for a dog dish, but a wash basin for camp cooking clean-up... for that purpose it works quite well, holding a goodly amount of soapy water, not being too squishy that the walls easily collapse. In fact the shape is designed to keep water in, not slosh it out easily.Good size for this purpose, squishes down to fit anywhere in the pack. I use a velcro one-wrap to keep it rolled into a cylinder.

This handy bowl folds up neatly into my service dog's vest small side pocket. Since she is always by my side, she needs a water bowl always by her side. After months of constantly folding and unfolding and restuffing into her vest pocket, this sturdy is not showing any fold lines or signs of wear. The only drawback? On hot days, she lays her whole head on the bowl and it collapses, spilling water. She likes the end result of my water on her hot head but I have split water to clean up :-P

The product is what I was expecting and I was pleased with the purchase.... and then I turned it upside down and clearly read "Made in China". The product description clearly stated "Made in USA". I bought this for hiking where I needed a packable small bowl to hold water for clean up of my cookware, gear, clothes, and me. It is light weight and rolls up very tight and held with a rubber band. The wide base is very stable and the edges don't collapse and spill if filled close to the top. I found it to be very tough and abrasion resistant. It springs back into shape well especially when warm water is added. I liked this one so well I may buy a larger version.
