I purchased some a while back and we love them so we bought more.

These are perfect for what I wanted them for. Adding some much needed light to my property out in the country where it's pitch black. I've had the one facing the big pine tree for over a year now (there's actually another to the left not in the picture) and decided now that the weather has gotten a little better to put some near the other trees. The two that I had already survived a really cold winter and have stood strong in the big winds we get out here in the cornfields. I dig 'em.

A set of 4 was purchased before Christmas. Two of them were planted into the ground in front of my front door to illuminate the wreath that hung there. The scope of the illumination and brightness were satisfactory. The other two were placed next to a backyard waterfall and 500 gallon pond. The lights are advertised as being adjustable and they are to a degree, but only vertically for both the solar panels and the spots. When the lights are staked in a position / direction for the panel to receive optimum sunlight the spot is in the same line, attached in a position180 degrees opposite the panel. It cannot be adjusted horizontally to turn in a different alignment from the solar panel. That is an inconvenience. If I want the batteries to receive optimum charge during sunlight hours they need to face a direction that turns the spots away from what they are intended to illuminate during the night time hours. It means the stake needs to be turned twice a day for the spots to receive a full charge, then light the areas I want illuminated at night. I don't always remember to do this. When I forget, the length of time the spot lights produce light is 2 or 3 hours less than it is when the stakes are rotated. It is an inconvenience , but I am satisfied with the color and strength of the illumination produced by the spot lights. If, however, the manufacturer upgraded the lights so they were horizontally adjustable, I would replace them with the improved version.
