A handy standby when checking and servicing model locomotives.

Never know this existed until a new Hornby loco shed a con rod nut. Delivered in 24 hours, it resembles an ordinary nut runner but small enough to hold these tiny nuts securely so they can be fitted and tightened. Much better than fiddling about with fingers and pliers, risking loss of the nut to the carpet monster!

Once I got one of these I found it very handy, easy tightening the nuts without chewing them.

If you are going to work on the loco's running gear this is a must and an excellect cheap tool.I bought 2 : in one a small amount of blue tak to hold the bolts/nuts the other tool to do them up once started on the thread without having to keep taking the blue tak out each time.
