Tougher than a Norwegian Elkhound during a Thunder Storm!!
My 6 month old Norwegian Elkhound decided this would make the perfect bone. I looked for my little drive for a few days. Then I had a thought cross my mind. Did the puppy bring this outside? Whelp a day later I decided I better check. I head out to inspect the yard. It had been thunder storming at that point for a few days. Finding all kinds of holes the puppy had dug filled to the brim with water. Mixing with the freshly over turned soil. Which made the contents of each hole kinda like a bad milkshake from McDonalds. While standing there in the rain going from hole to hole checking for my cherished little hard drive. All I could think about was how long it would take me to rebuild another drive with the data this one had on it. Especially if I ended up finding it in one of those dog made lakes. I was on my 4th hole before I saw it there in the lawn.... floating in one of my puppies secret cache of chewable goodies... My heart sank along with one end of the drive into the murky water. I reached down and picked it out of the doggie lake while the water poured out of the drive. I cleaned it up shook it to get the water out. I then left it to dry for a few hours. It wad now time to test and find out if I was buying another drive and start the rebuild of all my data. I plugged in the cable to the drive and started to push in the USB-A side of the cable into my laptop. I wad waiting to see some error while the laptop was trying to mount the drive.... but to my surpirse.... No errors.... could it be true? So I click on the drive it opens and I see all my files. ... but will they work? You bet it did!! I was watching my movies again without skipping a beat .... I have been using that drive now everyday since it was turned into the Titanic.... This is the Perfect little drive! Had to reformat to FAT32 upon first use but works great! Fast enough to stream movies straight into my TV USB A port! Tough enough to be chewable dog bone and go for a swim..... Love it!! DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS DRIVE!! IT WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!

What do you do with your old M2-SATA afffter you upgrade...🤷♂️ Get this little guy😉
After upgrading to a 256 from a 128 I needed something to store my old SSD. Well this is just what I wanted & needed.Yes, its USB 3.0 🤷♂️, Yes, its ALL-METAL housing, YES it fits 25 & 50mm M2.-SATA. "AND" it's no bigger than a zippo! 😉 Its great. All you need is in the packaging you take care of business. The only thing I needed was a case to travel with it and any mini earphone zipper case is perfect. After installing the old SSD in the enclosure there is even enough room to put some thermal pads, 0.5mm over the chips and NOT interfere with closing it up. While the USB 3.0 speeds might not be what USB-C is it works just fine for travel Laptop storage. IF you have a phone that supports OTG get the USB-C ver'Considering this is somewhat older tech by todays standard... you could... buy an SSD + this enclosure + a case & have a portable storage for less then say a 'WD 1tb mechanical' drive...😁😘All in All I have 2 of these and they both work just fine for what they are. A place to store data on the go and fit in a pocket/bag then move on. PS yes... they do get a little warm after LARGE file transfers. But that's normal for silicon chips inside a metal box🤣

Good value SSD drive with one drawback
I bought 2 of these SSD drive. A 150Gb and 1T. They work well and write fast enough for my needs. The only flaw both have is that they disconnect after a while, specially when copying a lot of files. It may be due to overheating but I’m not sure. I had to restart large transfers many times because of that issue. Overall satisfied for the price still.

Small, quick drives - fantastic customer support.
I mostly use this to edit video off of. Store the files on it, and it feels about as fast as my internal SSD. Highly recommend.Purchasing another!(250gb version)---update---The above purchases were great, so i gave them to friends and bought the bigger version for myself. As soon as I plugged it into the computer, I've been having issues. Froze up my computer, crashed it. Super weird, because that's never happened by plugging in an external drive. I reinstalled my version of windows after, because everything got a little funny.I exchanged it for another 1tb version, and I'd say it works about half the time.I don't know if it's quality control, or the smaller sizes just work better, but really confusing.------------------update again----------------After getting into contact with the manufacturer, I believe issues are resolved! Bonus points added back for customer service, and day 1 of testing replacement drive things seem to be working as they should. Pretty stoked again!

Nothing but Problem
Initially, I struggled to get this device to work consistently. It frequently disconnected, and after trying both NTFS and exFAT partitions, I finally discovered that the issue stemmed from the cable that came with the drive. The one in the picture is my own cable, which I originally received with an SK Hynix SSD. It worked well for a while, but then problems arose when I attempted to transfer data back to another computer. Although the copying process seemed fine, every file generated errors.I attempted this several times, moving files between computers, but the results were the same—nothing worked reliably! In contrast, I used a basic, inexpensive USB flash drive for the same process, and it functioned perfectly.Save yourself the hassle and consider using an Amazon Basics flash drive instead. It’s faster and completely worry-free.
