Fairly easy to put up and has stayed up nicely.

I’m no professional at this kind of thing, but it was easy to put up. I used lots of water as recommended, so it made it super easy to adjust the film once on the window. The film is thick and it’s total black out.

I like the thickness of the vinyl and the pattern. However, it was hard to peel the clear film away from the vinyl and the edges had trouble sticking and staying put. I was able to use some black electrical tape on the black vinyl. I was covering stool shed windows so it worked.

I was so glad I found a product that actually worked! It was easy to apply and I was able to get complete blackout for my utility room. I noticed a difference in my electric bill after installing this product. I would definitely buy it again!

So this is easy to install in the sense that you clean your window and then use water/dish soap on a paper towel to wet the window down to hold the vinyl to the window.The problem is that this vinyl material is super thin and stretchy. I used a utility knife to cut it to the size of the window - and a velvet wrapped card to spread it on the window to get the air bubbles out. The problem is that the material rips easily and does not cut strait.I would not recommend this product for that reason. It is dark enough for the window to be blacked out.

I do like that the blackout is 100% blackout! Adhesion was spot on. However, there are two major improvements needed on this item to give it a 5 star review and that is why I removed 2 stars. #1: grid lines should be added so that you can measure and cut straight lines. #2: PRAY TO THE TRANSPARENT FILM GODS before you start trying to separate the transparent film from black cover. It took me over 30 minutes to remove 4 strips that I cut to install on the window. I have poor eye sight (floaters/DES) and it was a horrible experience for my eyes to focus on removal of this transparent film.

Hard to get rid of the bubbles and randomly came off once. It was easy to put it back on though.

My shower has a window and from outside you can see the shape of the person in there. This fixed that problem. It gets wet everyday and it hasn’t slipped.
