One of the four devices did not work right out of the box. This was disappointing. Two of the devices have worked for 6 months over a mild winter. This was surprising I just put in the fourth device and will be ordering another set. This product is worth trying. It seemed to work for me and I really did not want to use chemicals.

not waterproof, i placed these in the summer, come fall and the rainy season they quit working. I could see condensation in the solar panels. Do they repel moles? Can't say. They did buzz every few minutes during the summer, so the solar power worked fine, just not waterproof.

This tone generator does not repel gopher. It is just annoyance for residents. It is a constant tone generator that people can hear but the gopher ignores. As I wrote above, it seems it is working. I am correcting my initial comments. For the past two or three weeks I don't see gopher around. I am hoping it is because of this device which means it is working.

Originally I bought some of these that just didn’t work. I was trying to get rid of some underground critters but instead they just came up to the device unphased. After writing my review the merchant reached out to me and offered to replace the set. I was skeptical figuring I would get the same kind of problem. Well the second batch works very good. Much louder to my hearing which means it’s probably much louder underground too. The groundhog that had been living under my shed it’s gone. I put one of the new ones right by the shed entrance and it didn’t take long for them to vacate the property. Also had some rabbits that were living underground and I placed one of the new ones near the entrance and I haven’t seen any of those rabbits. So the second set was definitely better than the first set and I think work much better and get rid of the creatures that we’re living in my yard. I especially give five stars to the company for its customer service and standing behind the product. Job well done.

The devises do work, however 2 of the first 4, which I purchased April 25, 2025 stopped working. Batteries are charged, solar panel works, but no sound. Can’t seem to contact manufacturer for assistance. These should work longer than 5 months. Would be great if there were a customer service.

Purchased these for my dad's yard as the gophers seem to have taken over. They worked for a few months and then the gophers popped up again. They do have a consistent sound but you get use to it.

Worked for approximately 3 months. Were in Sunlight as required for Solar rechargeable but died anyway. Just Stooped working!

I wish I had read all the product details before ordering. Amazon calls them "Ultrasonic," but if you look carefully, you'll see that the sound frequency is only 400Hz, +/-50Hz, which is within the octave above middle C on a piano keyboard and well within the range of typical human hearing. For it to be ultrasonic it ought to produce a tone higher than 20,000Hz. Anyway, I stuck it in the ground and I could hear its whining sound from a couple houses away. I certainly wouldn't be able to sleep with it outside my window. I don't know whether it's any good at repelling gophers and moles, but it sure is good at repelling humans. One other thing. It's really flimsy. I used a stake to make a hole for it. Then I removed the stake and pushed the repellent into the hole by hand. That much force was enough to crack the shield over the solar panel.

I have a big garden and me and mole usually get along okay. Moles create a big burrow which can be something like 600m square. If you think you and you neighbour both have moles then it’s probably the same solitary mole - they don’t like company. When one mole goes to mole heaven another takes over the vacant squat. Moles work different areas of their burrow at different times so if you get a lot of mole hills in your garden it’s probably because they are adding an extension. Lots of nice compost = lots of nice worms. My mole, and its decedent's and I have tolerated each other for many years and I have persuaded it to stay underground for most of my garden while I happily mow the grass, plant veg, enjoy the flowers etc. Until now. Newley dug herbaceous border, lots of nice plants, lots of mole hills in the freshly dug earth. Time to try sonic physcho warfare. I installed 4 of the these as instructed. They emit an irregular high pitched whine. It annoyed me and possibly my neighbour who was gracious enough to say he didn’t mind. After a few days … guess what? the mole was still there. Stone deaf as well as blind. However, keep on keeping on as we used to say back in the 60s and after a fortnight the mole has decided that my new herbaceous is not a peaceful place to hunt annelids and has headed off to annoy my next door neighbour. Don’t expected overnight results. Give it a fortnight.

Why did you choose this product over others?: This product is a complete waste of time and money. Despite using as instructed they had no impact on deterring moles in our garden. They are very noisy - to the point of complaints from neighbours - and two failed after two days. In sum, these do not work - in fact the mole built a mound over one of the units. Given that I have used them I cannot return them so please. please do not purchase these. You will waste your money, lose friends and not solve the problem.

Very effective at repelling moles, but very ineffective at repelling mice and rats. Each repeller has a slightly different pitch so if you have all 4 within earshot it sounds like a traffic jam with car horns blowing every 20 seconds

Unfortunately these did nothing to deter the mole/vole in fact it has become more active now and is even digging alongside them . I would like to say that I was delighted when I first received them as they were very sturdy and the noise level was good. We have tried many times to rid ourselves of these pests humanely but I am afraid it isn’t these so a complete waste of money
