We ordered this thermometer specifically for soap making since getting the right temperatures is key for certain parts of the process. This thermometer has definitely helped us dial in the temps, and our batches of soap have turned out great so far. It’s not made with the highest-quality plastic, but for the price, it does exactly what we needed. It gives accurate temperature readings when it counts. We’ve only used it twice so far, but it feels like it’ll last for quite a few more batches. Overall, a good purchase for what we needed. We’ll see how it holds up over time, but so far, I’d consider buying another one if needed.

Love this little thermometer. I've taken temperature of just about everything I can...food, the aquarium, the room et cetera. It's too sharp of an end to take a human...stabbing wise. I've had mine for over a year and the battery is still fine. You can't beat this for the price.
