I sleep on a memory foam mattress, you all know the brand, and hoped that this pillow would alleviate some of the neck pain I occasionally get from my existing pillow(s), I use six different ones in some alternating fashion, usually when I wake up in the middle of the night and throw one on the floor and grab a replacement. I have down pillows, foam pillows, memory foam pillows and feather pillows, they all get used over time and I hoped this pillow would allow me to throw all the others out and deal with one....not.First, after reading all the comments I purchased a King pillow. When it arrived, as mentioned by some of the other reviewers, there was a chemical smell. While some described this smell in varying degrees of minor to PU I found it to be excessive. I live in AZ so plenty of sun and fresh air and I took the pillow outside to air-out. After three days it still smelled. I chucked the think into the wash and ran a cycle to see if this would help, it did. (one note: you may want to cover the pillow with a pillow case when you wash or dry it as the pillow (king) is large and heavy when wet and has a tendency to rub on the insides of the washer and dryer instead of tumbling like a down pillow would. Seeing all the discoloration after the wash cycle, I did it again, this time I let it dry in the sun ~ 4 days later...Smell gone, so far so good. I fluffed the shredded memory foam inside the pillow since it had become compacted during the wash, put a cover on it and gave it a test drive. First night was great but the material continues to compact and the pillow becomes rock hard, just like some of the other contoured memory foam pillows and needs constant fluffing (read pulling the shredded material apart to make it fluffy)Bottom line, it's no better than the other solid memory foam pillows out there, at least not for me. Not having a removable cover means that you will need to wash the whole pillow, unlike the contoured memory foam pillows that all come with removable covers, some have two, one being specifically for perspiration.Save your money, there are far less expensive alternatives out there that work just as well, if not better ~ again, for me that is.......sorry this was such a run on..

I AM IN LOVE WITH MY NEW PILLOW! Truthfully, this is the best pillow I have ever used. And I have bought some other pillows that promised to be just that, but they all fell short of their promise. We have purchased down pillows, feather pillows, those memory pillows that never lose their shape - you name it. We have tried it. They don't even compare to my new pillow. I noticed right away that it held my head, neck and shoulders in alignment. That is so important to me as I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. This pillow did for me what others just haven't. I fell asleep in one position and woke up still in it - that's how soundly I slept. And I am not a sound sleeper, until now. I slept through the night, something I haven't done in quite some time. I am so impressed with this pillow, I am buying one for my husband who suffers from chronic headaches. Christmas is right around the corner: I know what my adult children will be getting from us, and I feel so good about it as their mother. I know they will rest easier and with new families and the stresses of life, sleep is huge! What better gift then one that helps them to sleep better, and have, yes, it's true..no more body aches and pain. Plus, it will last them forever. I just loved how it fluffed up in the dryer (as stated in the directions). I couldn't wait to use it after that! So, if your looking for a life changing, night-changing pillow, this is it! If it seems a bit to pricey, * get* it *anyway*! Honestly, It is worth every single penny. You'll be the next one writing a favorable review. I know it. YES, it's THAT good. :)

I have to say that I am not handing out a 5 star on an impulse. I have been struggling for the right pillow for years, and I have tried every expensive gimmick pillow on the market to solve my neck pain and arms falling asleep in the middle of the night.I am a side sleeper, I have wide shoulders and am athletic. I surf everyday I can and when I go to bed I need sleep, but I noticed a pattern of waking up in the middle of the night adjusting the pillows I had and also snoring!I gave this pillow a shot! (I was going to pull the trigger on a much more expensive pillow with the same title as our memory foam bed).Night one, slept the whole night woke up rested my wife was smiling and said I did not snore once. My head was so comfortable on this pillow.It continues to preform like a champ! I have taken naps and slept on my back with total comfort and support. It's not too bulky as to give you forward head posture and cause issues, it is perfect. My wife bought one! She loves it!Summary: it is a great product, it does work as claimed and you will not be disappointed. Oh, as a side note; the bamboo cove is really cool! It's August here in North County San Diego and we do not have A/C at the beach it is a performer for sure! The company, I immediatly got a sense of excellent customer service and caring.I 100% recommend the pillow!
