I purchased a several sets of these thermometer holders from a few vendors. They work pretty good and the spring action . I. The model with the slotted holes allows you to place the thermometer at different depths. For my purpose I did need to drill out the holes slightly to fit the thermometer, but it also fits many standard thermometers. Examine the hole size if it is important and you can avoid drilling larger holes. ItWas worth every penny for me. The best thing is that it is basically 2 sets, so I keep 1 set as a standard set and drilled out the second for larger probes.

This item should have had at least one 1.9" clip. The clips are 1.5 inches. The reason I bought it was because I needed the wider clip.
